8:00 tube pilot and its 12AX7 beg to differ…
I recon the real rec is pushing sub 20Hz frequencies that the digital amps won’t. These frequencies affect the whole sound even if we can’t necessarily hear them. They react with audible range.
The modelers will probably just be pushing something like 20-20000Hz
Both tones have their own magic, I love music, no right or wrong, just is, is what you make it, is never wrong, is universal.

You guys are in my familiar territory here! When I started playing guitar, I had to make peace with the fact that I was going to be low budget, to manage expectations. I think I've got a great sound, it's just not as polished as what nicer gear can offer. And this can be seen as a style of it's own. You can do alright with budget gear, and it doesn't need to get in the way of making great music.

I normally hate aerodyne-style teles. No pickguard on a tele seems like a cardinal sin. But that one that Rob is playing looks really good. I’m not a convert, but I’m now Dyne-curious.

I bought a Behringer Super Fuzz after the Doom Fuzz pedal shootout and I love it so much I bought a second one for my synth Dawless rig. The boost is incredibly handy for boosting things that are to quite in the mix. Like I have a Volca Sample2 I use occasionally but it's line out is really quiet in the mixer. There's also a super secret setting on the SF, if you put the mode switch in between mode 1 and 2 it blends them and it sounds really good. Unironically one of my favorite fuzz pedals.

I miss the days before guitar center here in the states. There isn’t a music store in my town anymore other than GC and they suck so bad.
@7:55 there is 100% a tube inside of the Tube Pilot.
I would love to see one of these thats home built pedal board vs multi fx board at the same price point (like the boss ME 90, or a line 6 helix)
Wow, this video takes me back… What a great throwback style video. I still remember when I was like 13 and I watched the budget pedalboard video about a dozen times (all the while wishing I could afford even that gear). Great tones too.
