When I first started watching Tim in the late 80s , he was playing an Ibanez arch top (Joe Pass model) he had 2 pedals a delay and a distortion, into an old Peavy . That peavy was a 1×12 solid state combo . I dare anyone to go out and play a gig on that setup !! Lol . He had a great sound !! For real , and he killed . I mean some nights watching him it was religious . Great musician !
Great video! Love all things Tim. But what’s his signal chain?!
Killer sunglasses!
Legend!!!!!
I'm not a jam band guy. I know a lot of people are…that's totally cool. I finally got on board with DMB when a friend introduced me to Dave and Tim. Seen those guys twice. Also seen TR3 twice. I love TIm. Whatever he's doing just works for me. This video is maybe outdated…but awesome nonetheless. Thank you.
Tim Reynolds is like a modern day Steve Howe.

85% of why I love dave…he surrounds himself with good people….or musicians.
Saw him in Providence R.I. he played with a gas mask on. He was on fire with his Tr3
Tim said he was watching a video Paca Delucia playing guitar. That's so crazy because the first time I heard Paca Delucia, I thought wow that sounds a lot like some of Tim's solos with Dave especially on L@LC
Sounds like he smoked for years.
Tim kicks ass super guitarist
Asmr voice
Phenomenal guitarist
I remember seeing him play solo and he wore an alien costume and basically just shredded over a drum machine. It was glorious
Hey Tim!
I had the honor of Meeting Tim Reynolds in Huntington WV. I got my picture taken with him. One of my guitar hero's.
He is soooo gay ! Why Dave ? Fire him ! Yuck !
Is it just me, or does Tim have the strangest voice I’ve ever heard?! I love him, didn’t even realize for many years that I was emulating his style when I play Dave Matthews stuff, along with some of the things that I do with delay pedal and volume swells, so seriously, I love the dude. But his voice is so strange sounding! Doesn’t sound anything like his face looks like!
Anybody else feel the same way?
Confijuration.
Tim is one of the coolest, most tasteful guitar players around ✌️
And now I understand why he doesn't sing.
Shame he didn't show us the Oscar he got for Cabaret…
tim you are truly one of the greats your version of ohio at the roxy pub was incredible!!! jaw dropping left me stunned! the playing, phrasing, tone everthing about it WOW!!!!!!
Tim is genius
All people rippin on his voice he almost died in a car accident. Only one lung. Tom is genius. Quick bein assholes
The dude interviewing him ????????????????
Tim was in a horrific car accident years back, thats why his voice is like that. But I met Tim back in 2013 in Virginia, & he is one of the most down to earth ppl Ive had the chance to meet. #DMB
check my page for the HOW TO on tim reynolds violin swell delay sound, I took some time and put it together! TIm is Such an inspiration to me!
Dont smoke kids
tim is beyond phenomenal…i think it's safe to say that he's one of the most underrated guitarists ever
he's straight trippin on acid
I think tim is one of my favorite acoustic player, he opened my eyes to a whole new world of acoustic
He belongs on that short list of the GREATS, however not enough people know about him outside the DMB army of fans.
Chris Kies is an awesome interviewer!
