I purchased a team of keyboard because I wanted to learn a little bit about how to play the piano the keyboard literally was so small that my pinky barely could fit on the key I will never buy an instrument off of Temu I've been so disappointed I've never gotten what I wanted from that place????
Few in the audience can tell the difference between a $100 bass and a $3,000 bass.
I have 4 expensive Fender basses. I just bought a Temu for $79 just to see how it plays. Should be interesting.

Love the videos. A luthier can fix that fret buzz in five minutes. The thing sounds good in the video. I couldn’t resist and out of curiosity, got a Temu (Glarry with humbuckers) 5 string for $89. Showed up without any damage in a cheap box. It was basically unplayable when I tuned it up but after a LOT of setup and tweaking with neck, bridge, and nut, I have it playing like a dream and it the intonation is great. Only problem, is the passive pickups aren’t super strong and the tone controls are a joke. It’s got separate front and back volume pots,but he tone controls seem like they all do the same thing, basically rolling off high end. It felt “sticky” at first but after cleaning the neck and playing a lot, it’s fine. Strings and tuners are fine. All it really needs is a great set of active pickups. Verdict is that for the money, it’s pretty amazing.

Travis, your Boss Super chorus sounds awesome with Temu bass, super that is a standard version of pedal, not bass version

If that was my bass, I would take out the useless tone pot and replace it with a Duncan bass EQ basslines preamp. They cost like $69 and they work wonders for a one trick pony that is the P-bass.

Never buy anything from Temu. Even things that are supposed to be cheap. Because the quality is terrible.

OK, ya took a 100.00 bass out of the box with what were undoubtedly crap strings and zero set up. For the money, I think it did well. With a proper set up and select string (D'Addario's) I think it'd be a great bass, EXCEPT for the neck drop. Not sure what you could do about that. That would get old REAL quick. Like you said, be a good at home practice bass. Hell, for a 100 bucks, you could afford to upgrade the pickups.
