  • I have few questions. I Hope someone can help me.
Do we need and Amp ? Or we can just plug the guitar and then plug a headphone / speaker as a monitor output?
    Thank you

  • Amazing jam at the start , was just closing my eyes and vibing to it. Didn’t even realise it was showing on screen the titles of the different effects being used. Great playing Shane

  • Can you let me know how to connect this thing using four cables ? I’m using two cables currently and cannot get the delay or modulation to work as they have no input /output thanks

  • Great review…. I’m looking at getting one of these. Can you completely bypass it if you want if you’re using other pedals on your board ? Also what if you gave it only 450 milliamps. Would that be an issue ?

  • Ooh I want to use the MIDI part to control my rack mount processors in conjunction. This thing is so rad, can’t believe I haven’t noticed it before.

  • I've been using the 100-watt katana with the footswitch for about a year. I reckon it sounds pretty decent but what I don't enjoy is having to use the tone studio to change a lot of the detail. Does anybody have any insight into how this sounds compared to the Katana effects?

  • i have it…. i hate the sounds….. i tried it for a while… messed with it for a while …. and came to one conclusion…. a turd still sounds like a turd no matter how much chorus/delay/reverb you put on it…. sorry folks… wanna buy mine super cheap… like $75 ???????????

  • Does anyone know whether the parameters of all the effects are saved in presets?
(I mean whether the presets save the on/off status of each effects as well as the parameters?)

  • The people that complain about no comp, there is some mini pedals out there for less than 50 bucks, plus the 5 way plug assembly. Most people don't get into comps anyway.

  • Anyone know how to sync the delay to a DAW? I tried hitting up NuX and they deemed it a silly question and quit communicating with me… I may sell it out of spite 😉

  • I use my mine when the gig calls for direct out / no amp on stage w/ in-ear monitors. A compressor would be nice but my biggest complaint is that there are no online patch resources for the Cerberus as there are for the Helix and Kemper.

  • Everything but a compressor. Also, would've loved to have had a better EQ section on the drive circuit as well. "Tone" knob left me wanting more…

  • I've been using this for the past couple of years, superb little pedal, my only issue is I have size 12 feet so have to be careful that I hit the correct switch

  • @16:10, you said that NUX Cerberus is not for someone who
likes "straight-ahead" pedals. Please kindly give us your suggestions
of a "straight-ahead" multi-effects pedals that is easy to use and
which are not complicated. Many thanks.

  • That's the best t-shirt I've seen for yonks, yowies are real, I know 21 October 2019 between Maryborough & Howard QLD I saw one fair-dinkum dead-set paradigms smashed like plates at a Greek wedding!? Is that the coveted Hide n'Seek World Champion Cup I see 'Patty' riding Nessie's back holding proudly aloft? Didn't do that good a job did the jet black one I saw leap from a tree that October arvo in 2019, spotted & everything I knew was taught & believed about the Aussie bush goes right out the window, 4 decades of bushcraft reduced to meaningless crap in seconds as meltdown on many levels ensued. I didnt know whether to laugh or cry when I saw the yowie – so I did both, dead set freaked me out severely on many levels.
Anyhow, this 3-headed hound from Hell of a pedal is the ducks NUX!
Gotsta gets me a NUX asafp, these OD tones are obese, Shane!
Thanks for gr8 videos & sensible no b/s advice for beginners garden-variety & dinosaur guitarists like me alike. Peace respect & far too much rock n roll is nowhere near enough. I write this comment on Kabi Kabi land. P.S. RESPECT all WOMEN. or f off.

  • I didn't like the drive sounds in it. It's ok for what it is but sounded thin to me. I never got the chance to use it in a live situation. If you loaded other amp sounds in it it may be ok but sounded 1 dementional to me.

  • Just wondering what the "patch switching latency" is?
Most Multi-Effect pedals, including POD HDX Helix, Fractal, etc have some drop out.
A couple of milliseconds is no big deal.
The thing about this pedal is it has no expression pedal, so 2 unique settings in one channel would not be possible.
2 settings meaning, pedal forward, lead pedal back rhythm .
    Or pedal back gain rhythm
Pedal forward clean with a touch of overdrive for rhythm

  • I've had a cerberus for about year and a half, and you can't go wrong with it. Been playing my tele with it and so excited to switch to a humbucker picker to get more grit and low end overdrive tone.

  • Been running through multieffects peddles trying to decide what suits my playing and decided on the nux cerebrus. Love the fact it's all analogue and can run the od and distortion in the front and modulations through the effects loop. I was sold lol so thank you for the informative video. Love your channel! Cannot wait to play with the nux and the amp I'm recieving, which is the blackstar HT club 40 Mkii black and blue edition. I'm stoked!!!!!

  • Does this unit have a chromatic tuner on it? Does it allow you to tune a string to any pitch or just standard tuning? I tune to E flat and use various other open tunings regularly.

  • Always find these things a huge disappointment usually but not this little baby. Bought one a few months ago and love it. Sounds good through PA and even better through my Blues Cube amp. Cannot fault it really for the price. Astonishing value and very well made. Get one !
