Probably excellent engineering went into this design but I bet the inability to have a tactile feel has its drawbacks.
not so pedalboard-friendly :/
The only downside I can think of would be not being able to leave it at any point between up/down or part way open….
I only buy an effect for bass if it is funky or stoned sounding. This is both.
I'm a long time bass player, (40 years), just getting into distortion over the past couple of years. I have a Bass Battalion and like the distortion in it. How well would the Crying Bass's fuzz stack with the Battalion's distortion?

Wow, quite awesome! Before seeing it being used I thought that it being a single unit without moving parts would make it awkward but it seems quite natural. Totally dig the low-pass filter and fuzz effect. The only thing I don’t love about it is the way you engage/disengage it, I prefer a switch.

Much better sound than a traditional wah. I've been looking for a wah of this type. It's more dubstepy. I would prefer a smaller wah-range, not going too high.
That low-pass is in parallel to the wah filter, right?
+EHX, could you guys create a version of this pedal that is a volume pedal in bypass?
Where I could find the cradle for attaching it to the pedalboard?
How do you turn it off after your finished using it?
Does anyone have experience using the pedal with angled pedalboard? Does in work as well, than with flat surface? 😛
