  • from this video the pedal being described sounds incredibly counterintuitive. I'll think I'll pass on this one.

  • I’ve been dragging around a 40kg AC30 for years. I absolutely love that amp. Over the years, I’ve strayed off the path of VOX every now and then. I’ve tried a Marshall JCM2000 combo, (nope) and Orange AD30 head and 4×12 and that was an awesome beast but waaaay too big! I tried a couple of Fenders and they were great but none of them “feel” like my VOX to play. My local music store lent me one of these for a weekend and I plugged it into a Fender Tone Master FR12 and honestly, it’s so close to my old VOX in tone and feel, it’s actually amazing!
Now my beautiful old vox, scars and all, sits in the corner of my studio and I’m carrying that lightweight Fender cab and this pedal to gigs. My back is a lot happier and I’m still struggling to get my head around how they have managed to shrink my 40kg amp into something that fits in my pocket! It’s a great time to be a working musician!

  • I had the dream for about a year I liked it, but I do wish it did have a headphone jack. I was trying to go stereo and I got the ruby as well and then I realize how much the Ruby is fits my style more but it sounds so real and so damn good and warm.

  • There are now about 1.2 billion amp sims available. I just want a classic amp modeled and curated by experts. Like THIS !

  • Dude one question
So I was told I can connect this pedal to a real tube amp and I did but I’m getting too much saturation ( my amp is a fender blues IV) so no inputs for send and return loop effect so the pedal is connected directly to the amp, universal audio said I just need to turn the speaker off but I’m not getting a great sound, my amp settings are in clean just not sure if this works or if this method is not good for this pedal

  • Hi Tom! ALL your Videos are SO informative!

I'm torn between the Ruby and the Dream as the only "Amp" I'll have on my Pedalboard (going into an Apollo Interface), so what are the pros and cons of each of them as a Pedal Platform?

  • If someone already saved a preset on the right button, are you still able to turn the bass and treble knobs to see if the speaker LED blinks or not to see what channel they used??

  • I realize you’re a “Fender guy”, but demoing a Top Boost simulator with a Strat-like single coil guitar is somewhat redundant. That said, thanks for posting.

  • I think that the knobs work backwards because the ac30 have them like that, facing the other way( sorry for the bad englsh, im from chile, southamerica)????

  • Thanks for the video bud, I just got this pedal , you probably explained it already, just one question when the LED turns green in the speaker selection, what is the difference red and green? thanks

  • GREAT DEMO MAN!!! I have the woodrow and the ruby; both amazing, truly. I am running them thru the clean channel on my Fender Delue. I am not a big tech guy, so asking for help… Is this a bad thing? should I use an FRFR like LIne 6 instead? Sounds cool, but want optimum… LOL Cheers and Thanks mate. Great work; gonna watch the others…
