Thumb ????????????
Bass should be fairly simple
Shes a badass
Winton Marsalis said that everything rides on the bass…like the wheels of a car.
The visual is the most important
Well. She sold more albums than I did. So, there is that…
INCELS gonna INCEL.
Why cover names? Let those haters own their words, specially the sexist remarks
I can play but I ain’t no good at a 5 string.
Most of the negative comments come from people who cannot do a single thing with their own lives, and they try to validate their selves by invalidating others who are actually trying to do something good.
Musican here, of course she can ! why so many people feel that we can't play lhis jus "becouse you 're a giel" ? … dafuc ?
God forbid a woman does anything
i see 5 strings????

I'd rather support them and their efforts. They're doing what they love. They don't need to be "virtuosos" which a term I hear her used like "genius" that gets thrown around just for the sound of it. Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey have been called average players by some critics because they're not "god-like" musicians like Jimmy Page, Randy Rhoades, Eddie Van Halen, and Joe Satriani. Who needs to be a virtuoso to play good music that entertains people?
There's a YT channel called Ellen Plays Bass with a 12 or 13 yo girl who does a fantastic job. According to her father she's been playing since she was 3 or 4 years old. She's still learning and doing a great job doing so. I've seen haters on her channel and it sucks.
Just go watch ale bass lessons, or muse hysteria (bass cover). Good enough for Muse to repost it on their website.
Don't matter what their opinion is. She is selling albums and touring the globe while they sit home in front of their computer being a fking critic. Shut up!! I believe your low on Jergens…better head to the store.
She’s no Geddy Lee but she’s a solid player and she serves the songs well. That’s really all that you need.
I love the girly girl with and supplying rhythm!
????♾️
As a Mexican I’ve seen a multitude of very talented and proficient female bass players in my life as a musician, none of them got the spotlight as much as this woman….
And I can definitely tell you that rather than undermining her, it’s quite unjust to the other actually good female bass players that only Alejandra gets the fame. It’s definitely the looks ????
There's a video of the band covering "You Oughta Know" in a live in-studio set and Ale is easily handling the noodling bass lines that Flea laid down on the original recording.
I think the mixing doesn't help. You can sometimes hear her bass really well. Other times, it's drowned out by the drums. In their album Error, you can really hear her playing.
The parts are simpe, but great. 'Evolve' is like Smoke On The Water by Deep Purple or Running With The Devil by Van Halen. She held her own against MISA in their collaboration with BAND-MAID, 'Show Them'. That's saying something.
Full of negative comments from very famous base players I bet ????
"Her lines are simple" are you kidding me? shes one of the best bassists out there nowadays
Saw them a few months ago for my daughter birthday and I never got into them but man live they can play a great show they know how to work the crowd and talk to them . She’s actually a really solid bass player.
Sounds like she's a solid part of the rhythm section, that's what matters.
It’s jealousy. She’s barely reached 21 years old and is garner more fame than all of us combine. She’s got talent. She has skill, and people just love to hate on anyone doing better than them.
ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz
I love The Warning❤
Just because she's pretty people are jealous
If the tune sounds great then they played it great.
I KNOW SHE CAN PLAY,,,AND SING,,,, THEY ALE ROCK!!!
Can she do the bass part of Hysteria from Muse? If she can then I will follow her.
Ale-MISA, Ale-MISA, Ale-MISA !!!-!!!!!
If you know, you know.
She'd be better with D cups….lol….
Lookout LOVEBITES
She can play. I don't think she plays particularly well.
she is a great bassist and the haters are bunch of losers that have never made it beyond their local shit hole bar
Can a woman play a g damn instrument without being told she can't play because she's a woman or being sexualized?
Bass lines need to be simple. Bass players that do too much are shit bass players. She fucking rocks. That whole band is incredible and original.
S I M P
If you're not the best stay home isn't a good way to live.
Alejandra is a good bass player, is only 20 and touring all the time. People that criticize her are ridiculous.
Would ANYONE say The Beatles were virtuoso players? How about The Rolling Stones? Pink Floyd? Moody Blues? Nirvana? Foo Fighters? Right. So if being virtuosic means playing crazy time signatures and weird chordal progressions and shredded guitar solos that last a minute, then no, because for their compostions, they're not necessary – yet. But if everything in each song is fitted together to create a perfect composition, then yes. Has The Warning started to explore beyond the narrow confines of rock and hard rock? Yes. Are they capable of what some consider virtuosic playing. Absolutely. Alejandra STARTED by learning to play Jaco. Yes, that's right, her bass teacher made her learn his stuff. And Alejandra sings perfect backing harmonies on most of their songs. That means in pitch and in perfect timing. Perfect like a metronome. Do she and her sisters look beautiful. Yes. Are they the best rock band on the planet. Yes. Not just their music but their completely magical presence is what sets them way apart from any other group. Their whole is much greater than the individual sum of their parts. One gets to "God" level playing through various ways – and they're already on their way – just as Goddesses.

I like her groove. And The Warning is one of the bands where you can actually hear the bass lines, it's not just "background" overshadowed by 3 guitarists, or whatever, but you can actually hear her play.
Does she look pretty? Yes. So what?
But would I listen to their music even if I never saw them? Yes! The their music is awesome!
Tal WIlkenfeld is amazing and I admired Sean Yseult.
I play Bass for initial compose (where it all starts) then switch over to 6 string, so Ale has herself a place on stage because she brings something to the table…
She can play bass better than most keyboard warriors claiming she can't play bass
