  • Hey John and Jeremy! I love your channel and have 2
Eastmans because of your channel. Eastman om40, and E20D. I also have a 2002 Taylor 314Ce. I love the Eastman 522ac in this video. I am thinking about selling my Taylor to fund it. Good idea? I strum country and rock mostly. I love the 722, but I'm a lefty and can't find one.

  • Man, that AC622CE just hums along like a finely tuned 6 cylinder engine. One thing I cannot overstate is how incredible the Eastman setup and intonation is. Each string plays in tune from first fret to the twentieth fret. (Yep. I am one of those crazy nuts who will finger a note at the 20th fret on occasion) After letting it sit in the case for almost two months, I pulled out my E40om last night and it was still in perfect tune. That is unheard of for almost any acoustic moving from fall to winter.

  • I learned very little from the spoken part. I’dike them compared to say a Martin and a Bourgeois or something. These guys are great pickers but their videos are full of trying to be cute (?). I have a tendency to ramble on myself, but I for one would appreciate just hearing the saliest points, and maybe their feelings about them compared to other brands or models. I’m sure many others like them as they are.

  • I don't generally don't favor "bright" guitars but I really want a maple guitar for some reason. Mahogany is my favorite but I already have a couple hog guitars and want to mix it up… a little bit.

  • Y’all convinced me to order both a 522 and 622, as I’m rather certain I need both. Thanks for the great videos!

  • Nearly 10 minutes of blabbing before you actually play the guitars by themselves !

They are Eastman Grand Auditoriums the 5 denotes Mahogany back and sides and the 6 denotes Maple back and sides, they've got sound ports and arm bevels, that took about about 15 seconds to say, how the hell do you stretch that out to nearly 10 minutes?

A little bit of opinion and cheesy comedy is fine, but come on Guys, this is painful.

  • I've had an 822 for about ten years and I tell anyone that will listen how amazing it is. If these new GAs are anywhere close to my old 822, they must be pretty amazing. I put a sound-port in mine years ago so cool to see the news ones come with them.

  • Excellent and fun review on the Eastman’s, guys! Wow, what nice sounding and looking guitars. The modern features are a pleasant surprise (to me) considering what it would cost for those additions on custom made guitars. Keep on a pickin’!!

  • I bought a 522ce gb from a local music store a few days ago and have been playing it every free moment since. It truly is a wonderful guitar to play. I absolutely cannot believe the quality of the sound, look, and feel for the price that I paid. A similarly appointed taylor would cost 3k-4k. And I honestly liked this guitar better than all the Taylor's I played that were under that price point. WAY better than the 314ce which is several hundred dollars more, doesn't sound anywhere close to as good as this guitar, and not nearly as striking in appearance. I love this guitar and she is only going to open up with time!

  • It's my birthday today AND I believe that AC622Ce is the one I bought from you last month as an early birthday present. It's an excellent guitar and I am really happy with it. Thanks again, Pete
