Pete just got married, his husband is a nice chap, congratulations Pete and Andy!
no expression pedal, latency always concealed, the Velotan has 5mls! latency, this is not computer IO latency, the built in chip! useless if you ask me, maybe their next version will have pedal switches that are also knobs like the Fender tone matter pro
I just got gs1000li and tried to do some looping using built-in groove station. I noticed that start button control is implemented somewhat inconvenient. When you tap on the button for the first time to start the recording it triggers the action on the TouchDown(just when you put the button down), but for the second tap when you need to cut the loop and switch to Playing mode, the button behaves differently, it doesn't trigger the action on TouchDown but instead on TouchUp. You need to press the button down and then release it exactly where you want to cut your loop. I don't know if this behaviour is supposed to be implemented that way, but I am having really hard time to cut the loop exactly where I want it. I don't have much experience with other looper but my TC Electronics Ditto doesn't behave like this, it uses TouchDown for both Start recording and Cut operations.
Je l'ai,et c'est une merveille !!!plusieurs effets en même temps, looper de 8min….il ne manque que la whammy….sinon, incroyable !!
In Groove Station, we need the option to choose which input is recorded by the looper. Currently in Dual mode, both guitar (Input L) and microphone (Input R) are looped together. For live use, it would be extremely helpful if only the guitar could be looped while the microphone remains active for vocals. Please add an input selection feature for the looper.
why i heard JHON SYKES here?? -Rest in peace Unsung Hero
*This one in my Wishlist, Absolutely… But i'll wait End year Sale LOL.
Hey guys, this video was super helpful, but I have a question: how did you manage to connect the pedal to the computer and let the sound output go through the laptop (Macbook) speakers?
I've been struggling with it and the only way I've found to use the pedal and the computer is if I plug a headphone to my Mooer, so both sounds come at the same time, but I'd like to use my speakers, not headphones.
That solo on the groove station was ????????
Are you panning your dialogue left and right? Sounds weird on Airpods Pro. Should stay in the middle ????
The technology in this pedal may be very cool for sighted guitarists, but for us blind guys it's not so much. The editor Lee is using (because it is quicker), is it screen reader accessible? Could Lee close his eyes, turn on VoiceOver (Cmd+F5) or Narrator (Ctrl+Windows+Enter) and manage the pedal? For blind users the editor is not a convenience feature, it is the only way we can use the product. If you can't see the touch screen and can't use the editor, then the product is useless. I have found none of the Mooer products to support screen readers in their editor apps. Moreover, just try to engage Mooer's support folks. Virtually impossible! I keep searching for multi-effects products that blind guys can use. Mooer is not the place to look. In the US we have the ADA. Just because the law exists doesn't mean blind guitarists can use these products.
Why don't you review Helix Stadium?
I waited years for digital processing, and now it's here I prefer analogue. ????
Can you power the normal one off the USBc connector?
Because if you can do that you can just use a battery bank.
Beats the Nano Cortex for about the same cost.
Moore is pretty cool. Just one thing: does it come in black or grey possibly? The thing looks a medical device used in a freaking hospital. The white is just wrong though could be worse like red or cream colors etc. I mean it's gotta look like a proper audio device! . . . Or dual me!!????????
What if Jimi Edge was actually Jimi/Edge a perfect combination of Jimi and the Edge.
If you can afford this price bracket for a practice rig I think one nice use case for the battery-powered version is as a practice rig. With headphones it creates a pretty convenient minimum fuss unit to keep beside you on the sofa or wherever so that you can pretty much pick up your guitar and play. Keep a wireless guitar dongle plugged into the back and it gets even fewer cables to have to avoid getting tangled up in.
What would be a lot more useful than it's meager attempt at amp sim or capture….. Of a insert for a something like a Tonex do you can use effects pre amp capture and time based effects post amp capture. This really doesn't sound or feel like a real amp….. Unlike Tonex or NAM which will can easily lock is arse….
This is the most disposable type of gear
it sound great, Capitan that mean that you gonna upgrade your office pedalboard…. hihihi????
I knew you wouldn't betray us with that analog BS, Digital John!
???? Another good one
No need to spend 1K plus anymore. I bought the NUX Trident. It’s fantastic!
Brought one of these from you guys about three weeks ago, gigged it last weekend as a tester. And it’s now my main modeller for my covers band. It performed brilliant it sounded fantastic and didn’t make me miss my head rush prime. A quarter of the size! So easy to lug around
I still want the ge 200 lol slow down ????
Question, does Digital John use hair clips?
What are you guys listen through in the room? I take it we’re getting just plugged right in. But is it going through an amp on your end or pa speakers or studio monitors?
Not diggin the shitty PRS….
GS1000? That's a motorcycle.
I started guitar a a few months ago and I just really want a multi effect pedal that just works for everything, just all genres like metal, indie, rock, just everything. I've looked at the Donner Arena 2000, ToneX One, MOOER GE150 Pro, NUX MG-300MKII, and the Line 6 Pod Express. Would anyone mind helping me out picking either one of these or something else in a reasonable price range around $300 the highest
Mooer, if you’re listening, make the LED light sinc with the tap tempo.
That IS the best looking PRS I've ever seen man
I love the fact that all Digital John's single shots are zooming in on him lol
DIG IT AL
17:25 Cheesy-tal John!! 😀
Pitch shifter is still the ultimate effect to separate the boys from the men. All brands have got their modelling and profiling game down by now. But it's only the big guys who can do polyphonic pitch down a few steps with barely audible artifacts for downtuned clean sound or emulating bass. Hiding artifacts behind overdrive is not as difficult a trick, so testing both clean and overdriven pitch shifted sound should be part of standard testing in such reviews. From my experience Headrush can do most of single note octave down bass simulation and pitch down a few semitones for simple chords, but there are artifacts on minor thirds and complex chords. Fractal, Quad Cortex and Helix are duking it out for the top spots. However, these Chinese brands (Mooer, Nux, Hotone) are nowhere near. Let me know if my take is outdated.
DIGITAL JOHN!
