45 thoughts on “Fully Carbon Fiber Acoustic Under $160! Enya Nova Go Unboxing Review and Demo

  • I bought this once and the action was super high on the 12th fret really really high other reviews have said the same. What do you recommend to better that and fix it? I ended up returning it but I'd like to get it again as I really enjoyed the guitar just couldn't play that action as I do a lot of leads

  • Mine was the same way and I love it. My 40-year-old son has a white one, My daughter-in – law has a purple one and they are all amazing. Mine is black like yours.

  • Important information for people new to truss rods!

Lefty loosy, adds relief. Righty tighty, relaxes relief to bring up the middle action. Its backward to what you think it would be. It was on my ibanez. Source? Its the 2nd truss rod i have broken in my life till i realized this is how it works. More bow in neck=left turn, less bow in neck=right turn.

  • Great job covering a lot of details in this video. Very well done and this is a wonderful guitar. What would you recommend to use to clean and polish the fret board on a black Enya Acoustic Plus model? I have one and love it but the fret board is looking a bit worn. Thank you!

  • It’s a very good deal, but it’s definitely not fully carbon fiber. It’s a carbon fiber composite, so some carbon fiber mixed with maybe resin and polymer. Enya makes a carbon fiber acoustic that’s like $600-700 USD. The fact remains that it is impervious to temperature and humidity swings. Very cool. Your review is great, especially the work you did to get the action dialed in.

  • Did you know that Enya has just released a new – even smaller version called the Nova Go Mini? The body of Nova Go Mini is 1/4 sized (32 in"). Also has a truss rod. I HAD to order one because I love both the SP1 and acoustic versions. Mine arrives day after tomorrow.????????????

  • nice review… I wonder why you did not tune it properly before testing the sound… bit naive ????

  • I bought one of these to play while I go through a remodel. Adding a compensated saddle helps with intonation up the fretboard. Sounds good enough and literally never goes out of tune, so I'm a fan.

  • Just ordered it. It’ll be my first guitar. I’ve never played before but I’m hoping this guitar will be good for a beginner. I got it on sale on Amazon for $130.

  • Sir, this is a great tutorial and learning experience. I actually learned how to review a guitar, inspect the functions and measurements, board height and features purpose. Thank you, well played, my applause excellent.
