  • Cool idea but already been done by positive grid, you just use your phone or tablet as the app

  • It beats me that people are willing to pay £1000 for a 4 Track Sheeran Looper X with a 7 inch screen, but are complaining about paying $700 (£520) for this magnificent product with a 13 inch touch screen, 8 Track looper, a mini DAW, and dozens of digital amps and effects.

Some things to consider for Lava Studio Amp 2:
    1. A 15 inch screen
    2. A five inch bass woofer
    3. Choice of internal memory size
    4. Aux in to connect phones and tablets
    5. A physical knob to adjust the virtual knobs
    6. A combo jack that accepts line instruments and microphones]

But i still think this is a great little unit and have already pledged the full amount for the Lava Studio Amp. I can't wait to get my hands on mine.

  • Add soft buttons people like to have a direct access especially when live, no one wants to scroll through a menu on stage

Or make a pedal board to go along it and that will help

  • It's just a tablet we plugged into an amp with bluetooth… someone had to think of it????

  • The concept this product suggests is amazing.
I wonder if the display could work like a tablet PC, and if it might also have a wireless system like Line 6’s Relay.
No one doubts that the next version will grab our hearts.
(Of course, the first version is awesome and makes us really excited.)

  • Needs a camera that automatically syncs to the recorded audio ready for upload or sharing.

  • I put in my $10 to get the discount weeks ago, but I'm not a Kickstarter person and the whole buying process is sketchy as hell. Lava sells some great guitars on their website. I'm not sure why I would "pledge" Honk Kong currency on Kickstarter to buy an amp. Sorry, not going through with the purchase.

  • Is there going to be a place or ability on the machine to jam with in real time with other user/musicians? Possibly making online or virtual jam groups

  • I can see practical for busking, but for serious studio work, sound so meh, for tone deafs might work but I can hear the low resolution sterile sound from miles away my iphone speakers, why I would use this if I can use my computer? I don’t hear from my eyes, those images of vintage amps don’t fool me when I have the real deal breaking up right next to me and this emulation sound nothing like that

  • Is there an app in these that will back engineer the original tone depending on what backing track you import?

  • It seems like a collection of thngs I can already do but put together in a nice package. Is there any innovation here other than the packaging?

  • 1k for an iPad and a Spark? I don't think people are going to buy a whole lot of these. I love the idea but I'd much rather use my own iPad on a proven architecture.

  • Will there be a Bluetooth expression pedal accessory offered from LAVA? If we cannot use an expression pedal, I think that really stunts this for what I intend to use it for. I want to practice and learn guitar and use this to have fun at home with my family. An expression pedal seems essential.
