If I remember Dave in a Guitar World interview around that time said he was using a Rocktron Prophecy into a Triple Giant Preamp into a Marshall Power Amp into Marshall Cabs that were heavily sealed. He had his tech go out get Marty the same gear with the exception of Marty wanting a BK Butler preamp being Marty at that time was using Carvin gear. For guitars it was Dave Jackson KV-1 and for Marty he had 2 Jackson Kelly’s one that was 22 frets and one that was 24 frets. Hope this helps.
