Got 64 tuxedo Princeton ….best amp I’ve ever had the pleasure of plugging into. Oh yeah dead quiet at idle …go figure lol
Always preferred the Deluxe Reverb m'self: a little bit louder & ballsier
That, “All right” perfectly encapsulated what I just heard.
Hey Rhett, sound great! How would you compare that Gretsch to the Julian Lage Collings?
Probably my favorite amp
imagine sitting in the Mojave desert with one of those .
cool.
I have one, with mercury trannies and a 12" cone, no Need for any other amp
Twin Reverb is the only amp you’ll ever need.
79 Princeton with 12’’ speaker amp here, in a home studio context he never breaks up, perfect pedal platform.
The Princeton is a love affair and I own a couple Gretchs. But I def can find a better guitar to spend 10k on.
Mafia 2 soundtrack in 3, 2, 1…
Is this just called a Princeton Reverb model? I'm trying to learn what this is…
Great spaghetti sounding amp. Or lost in a cave. Still not for me because i am a heathen ????
The Gretsch has great spaghetti western tone.
i once had this same amp and like an idiot I sold it.
I dunno I like Marshall and Mesa amps
Legendary tones..
Owned one with the pull boost volume. Pretty cool amp, bright and loud as hell. Wanted to put a 12" celestion in it but ended up moving on. Really nice amps though, just depends on your style.
Portable…great sound ….vibrato…reverb
Last one i had did fizzle…
Well the amplitube version is ????????????. Glad the real amp is not, cgeers my friend ????????
Can you do like a “5 levels of Princeton” video ????
Man, that Gretsch..
I have a 1966 Fender Princeton non reverb. Best pedal platform ever! Mic it and you wouldn’t know it’s not a 4 x 12 back stage.
So how much was it? I have an Allen sweet spot…it sounds nothing like that haunting tart!
Gretsch never sucks . .????
Ok that’s an awesome amp, but it’s not been over 60 years since 1967.
I have a 70’s Gibson G-30, a Princeton Reverb copy that is easily my favorite amp.
Sound just like my 2016 twin reverb reissue ????
How much is the amp
So much reverb. Can’t hear the tone.
Spaghetti Surf!!
Nice Gretsch too!
Too clean tho tbh
