Why the tone of the neck pickup is changing when you touch the tone pickup of the bridge ??
Or you just get an EQ and do the same.
I play a strat with the volume on 7 , and boost the volume .
Les Paul’s I play with the volume around 4 , adding volume or gain when necessary.
Mid boosts are for players that play on 10 all the time.
The E.C.signature is an awesome guitar.
I've got one. Bought it last year (2024) mines got the 25db midboost, and a TBX tone control. Plays like a dream and the boost sounds great and is very easy to control.
I forgot he had a boost knob in his strats.

This made me pull out my 89 american standard with LACE. Never cares for this guitar either. But….its growing on me.

I saw Clapton in 2021 and he still sounded great at 75 years old. I was impressed! 🙂
