  • Great video and one of the most authentic "Still Got The Blues" sounds I've heard, especially on a budget. I bought the exact amp based on this video so thanks very much. And go on just say it… Les Paul!

  • What a very interesting and understandable piece. It had such a good approach–not overly techi;not patronising ;and clearly someone who loved making music.

Nice to see your settings on the amp, good start for guitar players out there.

  • Nice tone talk, you really do not have to cost that much for great tone, for some reasons yoy can't go wrong with EL84

  • Nice demo, great sound and also a great explanation of how the sound sits in the mix. Thanks man…… also great playing.

  • Why is there a reluctance to say who he was on tour with despite giving clues that make us 100% who it is he is talking about?
Is there some kind of exposure issue or something?
    I'm just curious

  • In my country those Vintage Lemon Drop guitars sell for $1000 and those amps sell for $800. Add that and the pedals and you're well over $2K. Budget???

  • I have J.C. 20watt head. through standard Marshal 2×12, sounds VERY good.            the hotter the tubes get,  the better it sounds.   some dirt boxes go well with PREgain  lower.  HI pregain is fine too. a STEAL, at $300.

  • Just out of curiosity, the Jet City looks like the pre amp knob has a bit way to go. Why not crank the gain and not use the Tube Screamer.
