Is that a standard nashville tele or a.specific model?
Years of playing rock and roll and have hit a big plateau. Learning some of your licks here as I've gotten more into country-rock.. You are a good teacher. May I ask what gauge strings you use for these bendy licks? I'm using 10-46 since forever and ithey're great for raunchy rock rhythmic, and even stock rock leads to a point, but they seem really difficult for those bended notes. Have you a recommendation?
You got freedom from key G
Thank You wery much, this is an incredibly useful tutorial video.
Awesome video. Thank you!!!
Very nice thank you
how are you getting that tone? besides the obvious of playing a tele
Great video! You got any videos diving deeper into that first lick? Thanks a ton!
Great. Thanks !
Just came across you by accident. Great video for me as a starter for this genre. What effects are you using, 'cos you seem to have nailed the sound.
No Harms, No Foul!
Hi Steve, great stuff, thank you! I like all of these classic licks and especially appreciate that you put them in a context by playing over a progression in the end. I am not that familiar with the country legacy repertoire: What would be classic song examples over this progression? THANKS!
Awesome thank you
Just bought a brand new tele and this video was PERFECT for me
Thank u!
Your essentially making steel guitar sound from a normal guitar. Seems infinitely easier than playing an actual pedal steel guitar
More blablabla than music ????

If your fingers hurt your not playing enough practice those useless scales that have nothing to do with how the song goes
The right hand double stops are hard for me

Great lesson! Now I can play SOMETHING over chords.
I'm not really into country but I like some of the licks… Elliot Easton from The Cars would throw some country licks into his solos.
