DUDE!!! Seriously…THANK YOU. Thanks for being a REAL person, and not editing, and for showing your mistakes. This gives newer players HOPE! I've been noodling around for 45 years and I'm just now branching out into alternate tunings, and was considering upgrading to the Tonewood 2. Saw this and BOOM! Just ordered it. (Also just got a new Gibson Songwriter which has an incredible tone!) Hopoing to get up the "huevos" to start playing live again. I'd love to hang out & jam with you. Not sure which Demo I like more, JB's or Mike Dawes – both are amazingly talented guitarists. However, for me, I felt JB's playing was most like my own – and no that's not me blowing my trumpet – I mean it's even in the same universe of style as my own.

Thank you for the great demo. A question that comes to my mind is about the X brace. A part of the sound from an acoustic guitar comes from the resonating back. Is that diminished in any way by the X brace when you don’t use the unit. If I just install the X brace, would I notice any difference in the tone or sustain of the guitar?
I've had mine for two days & haven't been able to stop messin' around with it. It's SOOO much fun. I haven't had bit of kit that inspires me so much in a very long time. Love those riffs too mate nice job!
Hey, great demo. Question does the X-brace change the sound of the guitar at all when not using the ToneWood amp. Does it dampen the sound at all? Also, how strong does it stick to the inside of the guitar.? Is it easy to remove without damaging the guitar if you wanted to? Thanks.

So I currently have a Yamaha acoustic/electric and a Gibson acoustic only, no pickup? Does this bypass the sound of the real guitar. I'm wondering if I should get one for the Yamaha or for the Gibson
Says no cables needed yet I see a cable. Di you have to have an acoustic with a cable input…like an electric acoustic?
Just ordered mine today.
I enjoy the tone coming from my guitar, although I made modification to the sticky tabs. you should make sure the inside of your guitar is dust free, the sticky tabs that come with the brace failed and I purchased large 3m brand and they work so much better after scraping the old ones off.
I wonder if it will work on a carbon fiber acoustic electric guitar. Got a McPherson Sable and an Emerald x20. Kind of a dice throw, it seems.
Thought about this for my Guild D40T but don't want to install any piezo pup.

I wonder if it is possible to add an fx loop to the product to allow you to also access your existing pedalboard. I don’t know if there is a reason that wouldn’t work though.

Song is absolutely stunning! Had to stop working and listen several times. You have any tabs for it? I screen recorded to piece it together later but tabs sure would make things quicker

Great review and awesome playing. Do wish they'd add a simple looper, one track is fine 90% of the time.
I have an older Epiphone Masterbilt Nylon string with an LR Baggs preamp and undersaddle pickup. Do I assume correctly that the Tonewood can work with any acoustic guitar – steel or nylon – as long as it has an integrated pickup?

This is an awesome device. I just pre-ordered one this morning. Do you think they will in the future add a looper to the app? As sitting in the park with one guitar looping would be great! I have several loopers, including one that runs on battery power and has drums. But still need an amp to hear it. So a looper built in to the app so it all just comes out of the guitar alone would make this completely amazing! Great review, and awesome playing! Thank you!
This has got to be one of the most valuable, high-integrity, inspirational presentations of new guitar tech I‘ve seen. Love the authenticity of the masterful musician, as well as the options in this new version of the TWA. I have the original one, but ended up not using it much for various reasons. The new one is much more to my liking…. Now if I hadn‘t just pre-ordered the new Yamaha TAG3 C (with built-in effects and app control), I‘d be on the new TWA in a sec.
