I think I just went to music school after watching this. Incredible ????
I've always thought about the "island amp setup" and I was always perplexed with the decision of either if I should go big or small since I like to take my electric guitar around like an acoustic and play anywhere but with a battery source and an amp gets pretty heavy so in my mind I would choose a boss mini katana x and then my prized et-312 (frank) and I'm chilling.thoughts?

Dweezil please. Do a series. Live at Dweezils house ( of course you are putting a stage by the chicken coup ! . Get people you know and play all kids of things ! And. Please please. Do a how to play. You can’t ruin me !! Good luck in Nashville buy some cold weather gear !
Like father like son, Frank is well known for saying he hadn’t played for months
As an analog Jerry West didn’t shoot a basketball in the off season in the last few years as a pro……Jerry who you say ????
yeah I’m old…..
Rory Gallagher was doing Randy Rhodes licks before randy Rhoades was doing Randy Rohades Licks… hammering with the Pick. pulling the string… etc…
0:53 I have now to convince my wife to come with me to Cologne at a concert in 3 days.
Best guitar podcast advice is have Dweezil Zappa make an appearance?
That's awesome that Dweezil is coming to Nashville. We've lived in Nashville since 2003. Maybe I'll bump into him in town someday!
This was fun as hell to watch. I'm inexperienced and dweezil explained things so even i understood them, mostly
Love Frank's music and I've only just started to get into Dweezil's music , Dweezil's channel is very interesting and inspiring too
dweezil oozes credibilty and likabilty
Dweezil is dropping these music gems for free! thank you Dweezil, and thank you Tyler and Jared for this podcast!
I saw Jared live perhaps 5 years back or more. He was EXCEPTIONAL. what a killer guitar player…
If his tour schedule brings him back to Lebanon NH for any reason I will be there.
Sweet wolf pac shirt 2 sweet
Tyler, for a second when I saw your face
You’ve probably heard this
I thought you were the Tesla guy Elon
Cracked me up when Dweezil played “Bad 60s Guitar”. I was flattered. 🙂
Tyler adjusting to the master's suggestions near instantly.
That's a level when the master is a master-master.
Great comradery and playing.
this guy somehow has a job getting guitar lessons from the best around
That phone melody thing is brilliant
The more I see those Novo guitars the more I want one. If only I could find $4k laying around..
As someone who had the Zappa Plays Zappa DVD 18 years ago, just repeating the Torture never stops solo. Annoying my roommates telling them "you dont fucking understand!".
Thank you beyond life as a 37 year old Zappa Head. Us millennials don't have enough Frank or Dweez and just dont get it. You made the end of my 2025.
Dude that guitar is so sick.
Randy rhoads is 100% underappreciated…people do not get the depth of his playing and writing
Hearing Zakk Wylde before Randy Rhoads….is like watching a pretty good basketball player before witnessing Michael Jordan.
Randy changed the game.
dude, did you delete my eddie overrated frank underrated comment
The best guitar channel out there bar none! Keep up the good work ????
Seen JJ Nichols open for Ted Nugent in Ardmore OK, got to meet him after the show and he was super nice, very very cool dude.
My favorite ever guitar tone is also watermelons in easter hay. It has always been ever since I heard it as a kid. Both the clean and the overdrive tones are just incredible.
Dweezil's Beezil's
Get Ariel Posen on this !!
exceptionally good discourse bois, absolutely love Dweezil's approach,…many of those methods are dear to my own improvised musical intent. *Dweezil meets Julien Lage meets Chopin is my current jam????
You guys are great together
Gotta get Jesse Johnson Or Gary Clark Jr On Here Or Rhys!
The Zappa name is in very good hands with Dweezil. Amazing show Tyler, mad Props for this.
Great show & lesson, thanks.

Dweezil moving to Tennessee. Wow. I am not sure why, but that just blows my mind. This channel is fantastic.
This has Phil Keaggy feel to it 26:00
Glad to see you coming to Tennessee where you can actually keep almost all of your money. The only thing you’re leaving in California is the weather. You’ll enjoy the seasons changing here too.
