Can it be used as a bass amp
The distorted sound was very Yngwie-esqe (and I'm not saying that because of the scalloped fretboard)
The mirror type front is like on a Silver Jubilee. 1 of the best Marshalls imo but you have to memorize what knob is what because on stage or anywhere you can barely read them. Easy fix with a piece of white tape and a sharpie on the tolex.
Many players don't know , a 100 w Marshall is like 45 watts with only one cab hooked
Then if you pull 2 power tube's, 25 watts , if your are lucky
Which is exactly how I ran all Marshall's and boogies at my 8 room rehearsal place
NONE WERE THE WISER , And the amount of volume or gain , never an issue
Glen Danzig is really good at guitar.
Monoprice doesn't produce this one, they buy it in Asia (Sino amp Inc.) That's OK, but makes that your description seems a bit odd. 🙂

I played on the Stage Right 40 watt bass practice amp and it surprised me. It's light, has some great low end punch, the tones it can make are good, takes pedals well, and it has a DI out. For almost half the price of a Fender Rumble 40 v3, you get quite an awesome amp with comparable features.
I bought the 50 watt sb12 combo and very satisfied .

Reflective faceplate – a small can of Krylon Clear Matt can take care of that.
I actually ended up getting one of these a couple years ago based on DBG’s video and yours, but I think I may have gotten a bad one, as even with replicating the settings you show with different guitars, it just sounds freaking awful. Pushing the power tubes at all just makes it super muddy, the tube distortion just sounds like it’s gargling gravy and cotton balls, there’s no real “sizzle” or crunch to it. Sure, it makes single notes have some fatness to them but if you dare play a chord it just turns into a boomy indistinguishable mess of a sound like feels like the cab is covered by 20 blankets and 2 rooms away. Whenever I turn the volume past 1.5, it doesn’t start to growl, it just sounds like Mickey Mouse trying to sing with laryngitis.

I have the SR 15w combo amp. Recently got the same speaker cab for about 190$ on sale. Big difference in sound quality.

Seriously, I'm guessing at least 75% of us knew what those knobs were before you even said it and really have zero reason to see what it's labeled as. Well, at least those who have been playing for a while. It's the same layout as most amps and it's staggered in an easy to see what's next kind of way. Reverb then Presence. That would be the only one I'd have a chance of getting wrong and I'm not that unique..

I’m not sure what to make of this “demo”. You didn’t show or tell what any of the tonal changes were that were going on, so how are we to judge the amp? That fizzy sound at the beginning – where was the gain setting? It was brittle and fizzy. How was the tone stack set (you know, bass, middle, treble)? Based on hearing just this demo, I’d look somewhere else for an inexpensive or even used amp. That tone was horrible (and given the cab had a V30, the speaker wasn’t the problem).
