Man this comment section is toxic ????
Why is a person giving a tutorial about audio engineering techniques but using a phone to capture the sound.
Or play with amp settings and microphone placement to capture the tone you want.
Also – If you use an amp plugin/emulation – you'll never sound as good as a real amp pushing air into a microphone.
A lot of….. interesting takes in this thread
Cool! ????
It's just eq, WTF
Proverbs says they that give to the rich shall surely come to poverty.
WOW EQING YOUR TRACKS IS FUCKING SANE.
Let me speak for all the hobby producer … this Video was a waste off time.
or… just dip the low mids.
Clickbait
Woah you have a computer
Trick? That used to be called eq and compression.
Thats not midrange in guitars. Mids are 500-1k. This frequency gets anything upfront and be careful not to overuse it. I rather boost 3-5k to not fight with the vocals.
High and low pass and make it louder isn't the same?
Audio from the DAW would have been much preferred
Bad recording the begin with. Might be the camera's mic though, but it sounded weak like what I recorded in the bedroom on my tascam when I was 14..
Works better with the real EQ…
FUCKING AMAZING.
This is an almost AI-slop level advice. Like, not even for beginners, but for actual toddlers or retards.
Ugh, this is hilariously inaccurate and bad in a full mix ????
That track is already waay compressed, the R-axx is not helping…
Now see how a vocal disappears.
This is not a trick, this is marketing those whatever plugins. You are shamelessly bullying 100s of top class producers who we all learned the art of mixing guitars.
Dude using EQ is not a "cool trick" lmao.
It's the very very basics ????
get it right at the source…
