G’day folks! Marcus and Chris are back to take a closer look at a fantastic new addition to the USA lineup: the Fender American Professional Classic Stratocaster!
Fender has just released this new series, offering the build quality and playability of the American Professional range at a more accessible price point. You still get an incredible American-made instrument, but now with a premium gig bag instead of a hard case.
Chris and Marcus dive into the key specs and differences from the American Pro II:
Price Point Strategy: By swapping the hard case for a gig bag and introducing new appointments, Fender makes the USA quality more affordable.
Exclusive Pickups: Features the new Coastline ’57 Pickups. Chris and Marcus love the blend—they boast a vintage-style tone but with a higher output and punch, keeping the sound incredibly clean with minimal single-coil hum!
Neck Profile: This Strat features Marcus’s favourite setup: the supremely comfortable Modern “C” neck profile, paired with a 9.5″ radius fingerboard and Medium Jumbo frets. It’s a slimmer, faster feel compared to the Deep “C” on the Pro II.
Classic Hardware: Harkening back to the ’50s and ’60s, this model features a six-point vintage-style tremolo bridge (instead of the two-point system on the Pro II).
Smart Tuners: Features vintage-style tuners that are cleverly staggered, ensuring a perfect break angle over the nut without needing a second string tree.
Colours: Showcase of three stunning classic colours: Lake Classic Blue, Faded Sherwood Green, and Faded Fiesta Red.
