My buddy that helped me record my music ( me doing vocals over an instrumental) got me into pedals! I never realized the doors that they opened and strictly thought I needed to buy a better amp until I met him and now I’m on the hunt ????
I just have a real cheap overdrive pedal and a boost pedal (idk the brand, they’re small and the overdrive is green and the boost is white) and it has a very SOAD-esque tone

I just use a tube screamer copy for a boost and amp gain, but my friend uses a ds-1 and yea it does sound like copper idk why though.

Made me giggle so hard especially the DS-1 lol I still have my DS-1 and use it fairly frequently. I'd say it's more like brass though, soft, malleable, and wears out quicker than anything else on the board lol
