Things Every Guitarist Learns the Hard Way (Unless You Watch This)

???? Be honest — how many of these did YOU learn the hard way?
I still catch myself forgetting some of them once in a while ????
What’s one “guitar lesson” you wish someone had told you earlier? ????
Truly helpful advice, your channel is excellent. ????
I'd like to comment on tip #1 if i may. There is a video from Troy Grady on palm muting which is very interesting about how does your amp contributes to that noise, so i'd like to ask how much does this string wrapping contributes to noise reduction? Lately i removed all wraps top and bottom from my guitars and i did not experience a tremendous change in sympathetic noise. However in a cheap strat i own i changed the bridge with a wilkinson one and i felt like i was playing another guitar. The old one was producing noise and it was discovered by the luthier when i took it for a setup. Also on tip #6 i find it extremely difficult to match a speaker to an amp. That requires loads of experience and a very sensitive ear not to mention a good knowledge of what each speaker is capable of. So that's a tip for … let's just say not for newbies as chances are you'll get better sound at certain readings but overall you will regret it.
Wished those kind of clips where availible 20 years ago when i started playing…i had to find out those things the hard way ????????????
My tip for straplock: in germany we have beerbottles we call "Bügelflaschen" …they have rubbers, which look like the red rubbers you showed. The benifit…they come for free with a good bottle of beer ???? german guitarists use them since the 60s…they work perfectly…i equiped all my guitars with them. But i dont know if these type of bottles exist outside of germany.
I put some foam (the yellow ones you use for dish washing) under and between my springs in my strat to stop the rattling. Works realy well.
On my hollowbody with bigsby it doesnt worked because the strings are to high there…i just put one of my socks under them ????
Cool and useful advices for beginners, mate ????????
