What’s Happening
On your computer (Traktor Pro 4 software), you can trigger/launch “Track Deck loops” that you copied into a Remix Deck cell just like you would with regular Remix Set samples. This means you can mouse-click on any Remix slot and it works fine, regardless of source.
On your S4 MK3 hardware (Samples/Remix mode), the pads only trigger properly for “official” Remix Deck files and samples. When you copy a loop from a Track Deck into a Remix Deck cell, it shows up and can be played with the mouse—but the hardware pads or cue buttons do NOT trigger it. They appear greyed out or unresponsive.
Hi everyone, I have a 13" Mac Book Pro model A1502 (2015) with a Core i5 processor and 8 GB of RAM, OS 10.12.6 (Sierra) operating system. I would like to know if it is possible to do a direct upgrade from Sierra to Monterey, then install Traktor Pro 4 and use this new controller without any problems. The use of stems is not necessary. If anyone has found themselves in this situation, can you kindly confirm that it works correctly? Thanks.
still no in-out button makes me little disappointed.
mixer fx button is great tho.
I have no idea how NI is still in business sometimes.
They must have a very loyal fan base. Or it's just all the software they sell.
You want screens, you support DJmirror for Traktor. Modular screens. Not yet perfect, but great for what they've realized already.
Nxt for Traktor:
– Traktor development team mentioned improved Software GUI is something they are working on for Traktor Pro 5 software. Hopefully they will also improve the Library, and who knows start to offer Streaming services.
– For Hardware, who knows. I wasn't expecting this MX2, but I'm impressed witg what they packed into the MX2. I'm hoping myself NI will come soon with some decicated modular controller for Stems (Allowing for one for Stem Volume Swap, which currently isn't available on any newly introduced device yet by any manufacturer as far as I know; Dedicated modular controller for Traktor Stems = Direct control over Stems stuff through (Touch) Faders (Stem Volume, Stem Filter, Stem FX Wet/Dry; Full control over every part Traktor Software offers for Stem Control; The Stem Volume control currently available on the Traktor controllers does not allow for straightforward Stem Volume Swap)
It looks so plastic-y! I really didn't expect a downgrade like this, but maybe it will be superior to the previous ones in audio quality. I really don't like anything else about it.
Not impressed at all. All features that could have been implemented in the previous version. I have the S5 and it's a shame they stopped updating it. In the future, I won't buy anything native anymore.
Ans still, no Apple Music support.
Meh… gimme a Z2 Mk2
Can you hook it up with iPad?
What a nice surprise! They put the FX controls back.
Not feeling the new designs. The previous line looked so much better…
