the guitar Sor Hands wouldn't review even if it gained him money & engagement
what do you do for the guitar leg support? Foot stool or straps?
I've been keeping my guitars in a closet with a custom temperature humidity control system. They have been at 50-51% RH & 60-70F for the past 5 or so years. They stay in tune very well, for weeks at a time. Generally I only need to raise the unwound nylon strings a few cents about 1/2 hour after I start playing. Steel, bronze, and wound nylon strings don't go out of tune. Needing to tune a lot is a sign your guitar is not happy with its surroundings.
I’ve just received mine. 2 things I would say. It’s a lot heavier than I expected so not sure if it’s totally suitable for overseas travel especially if you also carry camera equipment given the weight restrictions of airlines. And perhaps a back bar also to extend it outwards from the front of the body would have made it even more comfortable and stable for those playing classical guitar. But overall, the dedication to quality from Donner is amazing and the guitar is very easy to play and adapt to. Very impressed and pleased with the guitar.
Could someone help me please, what is the difference to HUSH-I?
I rarely travel ???? but I'd had a Yamaha silent guitar nylon????
Thank you for reviewing this marvelous guitar. I have a question for you. What is the length of the guitar alone from the tuning peg to the nut?
That thing sounded really good. I need this in a bass form.
too bad i don't play guitar. this device is so cool
What is the neck width at fret 0 (nut) ?
I've Donner guitar & pedals. They're not replacing my Fenders or Walrus any time soon, but they make great cheaper kit.
I love to hear good guitar players.
Sounds thin and soulless.
The Kebab guitar. The low 3 strings (EAD) did not come out in the video, but it could be an artifact of the recording?
can you use the earphones and the amp at the same time?
Hi! Could you share the name of the music at 2:30?
Donner Hush is a dumb company based on an even dumber business model. Those guitars aren't sold anywhere but by mail-order….only an idiot or an unsupervised child buys guitar without trying it first. This is not a pair of underwear you are buying, it's a guitar and it needs to be played BEFORE buying it. It's the BEFORE and AFTER concept that doesn't seem to be clear for these wanna be businessmen.
Very smooth and clear. I have to try this. Thanks for sharing.
Perfect for people who have no idea how to play a guitar. Like me. Just plug up the earbuds… and only you can hear yourself play terribly. Perfect.
Does it come in lefty?
Sounds too digital like a electronic key board. Buy wood. It won't wind up in a landfill in 20 years.
wish it was made with actual classical guitar nut width and flat radius Id buy it real fast
More oe less a nylon stringed steinberger.
Hush X is $290 on Amazon. I don't see the Hush C.
guitar picks on nylon strings… fools
You remind me of Judd Nelson
how is practicing "silently" with a guitar possible? Headphones or not.
It's the same log Les Paul invented. The body attachment is dumb You need actual guitar shaped body attachments just like Les Paul did on his first guitar but make them into acoustical resonators with springs, plates, torsion rods and every device Les Paul invented embedded into the attachments. The ultimate franken guitar will weigh a ton…,like the Chet Atkins… or also be a featherweight acoustical dreamship. Attach your preference. Put speakers in the resonant cavities. tuned harp chords. Why isn't any one playing it standing naked with no attachments? That would be sexy and sell guitars like in the 80's when i had a Steinberger.
And now the crunch; how much do these things cost?
is the action really high?
Read the title, not gonna watch the video. Just have one question… how does a silent guitar sound good?
I bought the Donner Hush I Pro so I could practice while traveling. I love that I can practice day or night with the supplied earphones which have excellent audio quality to my ears. The metal siding takes getting used to but thats the same for any guitar coming in as beginner. I would definitely buy all over again and having a built in tuner, not something extra I would have to carry around is another win. Theres to much I like to put it all here.
Ok. You convinced me. I'm going to remove my wood glue attempt at correcting dead notes on the les Paul. And string it. And play it as usual.
Hi. Tell me please. Is the neck width of Hush-c different from the neck width of Hush-I?
According to the specs page, the nut width is <2 inches i.e. not a classical…
The higher strings sound very good but that open bottom E string sounds awful.
$355?
Nah I'm waking up my wife
Hi, I wonder how silent it is? I am a student living in a dorm. I don't want to disturb my neighbours but I miss playing guitar.
I just ordered one. It will be interesting to see if I can play it like an Hawaiian lap steel.
Just HORRIBLE ????
Does it actually have a flat fretboard? Seems really difficult to find a solid body classical with a flat fretboard
Looks cool, a better design would be to have the metal "body" be on retractable posts rather than removable. If it had holes cut out it could retract to the point that the pots sit flush with the metal. It would take up less room when packed away as well as providing extra protection for the pots and tuning posts.
And of course, no lefty….?
I need a left handed one please.
Ask a friend with a 3D printer to make you an extender for that frame to widen it. Would be an interesting video colab. Interesting to me at least.
