Didn’t recommend mics
Perfect!
KM 84 on the body. C12A On the 12th fret. Always a winning combination.
years ago i got a few wilkinson audio sm57 mic clips, one has a SDC diameter clip, the other a room mic diameter clip, fun to mix them together. still using your lower body location technique and still love it.
been doinga mic shootourt and loving the JZ V11 pointed at the 12th fret. super open and like a ribbon but with that top end sparkle of an ldc, special.
Any advice for live sound for guitars no pickup?
Mid-side with R121 mid, U87ai side – no phase issues.
Man I tried several times never managed to get a nice tone!
????❤????
????
Transformerless SM57 pointed were the neck meets the body away from the bass end of the guitar unless it’s a pure acoustic performance….
Could you recommend a few? Yes, here's one. ????
I've always found recording acoustic guitar really easy to do. ???? But since I went from tape to digital earlier this year, finally, I'm having trouble getting a good bass guitar mix for some reason.
Sm81 works great for this. I’ve started using a single ribbon mic love the warmth it gives to my acoustics.
12 fret fun
I’m confused . So what microphones do you recommend and what’s the 2nd ? This video seems cut short
