Want an Ibanez TOD10N? Check These 3 Guitars Instead
Like it or hate it, the Ibanez Tim Henson TOD10n has been one of the most popular guitars of 2023! It’s that popular that whenever one arrives with us at guitarguitar it’s usually gone in the same day to some very happy customers. In this video, Keiran shows off 3 alternatives to the very popular nylon string acoustic guitar, which are all slightly cheaper & sound and play just as great.

For anyone who has it, how good do you think it is?
As mostly an electric player, I liked the T.Henson Ibanez neck a bit more than the wider Cordoba neck wheh I tried them
I know this is an old video but I just need to ask what mic was used for the recording?
I love my Ibanez Tod 10N …I just can't stop playing on it… On the stage it sounds great… and in my opinion it's a best choice for electric guitar players.
Cardoba is more expensive xd
The video i didnt want, but needed
I own a Cordoba Stage which is great when you are a solo player, but terrible for louder bands, not designed to work as a loud instrument, I have faced lots of feedback issues. Perfect when I play alone though! I am curious is the Ibanez won’t give me the feedback issues that I get with the Córdoba
Nice video, but that mess on your head has to go man…
The finish on that truss rod slot on TOD10N looks so ugly, they could have added a cover for, would literally cost them like $5 to do this…
You could check the Godin Multiac too but it's way more expensive … ????
can anyone tell me the name of the riff played in 0:27?? I rlly rlly love it ????
Cordoba does not have maple back and sides. It's mahogany.
The tone on that cordoba????
godin multiac?
Sire has a similar option as well.
i love cordoba yaaaaay lol
is there anything you would recommend with this kind of style but not Nylon?
I honestly had no idea who Tim Henson was and only had passing knowledge of Polyphia.
But I saw that guitar at the shop and was like… ohmygod I've wanted a classical electric for so long and this this is perfect. I wanted to know is the more affordable option was the same minus the fancy fretboard. I think I will be getting one of these and it being affordable is another bonus.
I'm not even a Polyphia fan but I'm looking for an electric nylon string guitar and your video is so well made! Thank you!
As a massive Polyphia fan, and the proud owner of a TOD10N, I don’t think you’ll go wrong with the TOD10N. There are a lot of great options if you’re just looking for a crossover nylon acoustic-electric, but I’m very happy with my TOD. It sounds good and it’s really fun to play. The frets are quite small so there’s some buzz if you don’t squeeze the shit out of it but aside from that I have no real complaints. The preamp is great and the tuner is a nice feature. Plus it looks absolutely gorgeous. It’s even prettier in person, you can see the wood grain through the finish which I didn’t realize from the pictures online.
Godin, up in canada, has been making these instruments for decades!
godin is still the OG
Cordoba is the easy winner here
I like your tattoo… Struggler.
WHAT ABOUT CORT SUNSET NYLECTRIC.. SOO GOOD
Cort sunset ny is the alternative for single cut
Talked me out of watching your channel.
I bought the Ortega Tour Player in Satin Black to jump on the Nylon train. And I'm so happy with it!
godin a6 ultra is rlly good
Is there a difference between TOD10 and FHR10 in neck shape, feel, curvature ?
what languages is this??? lol
Nice Hair.
Google LE-C2-CS – they cost about 150
I think the main appeal to tims guitar is the inlay and the better pickup.
Its a good guitar and it is a good transition for an electric player.
However, the fishman Stage pickup system on the cordoba is the best pickup system I have ever heard on an acoustic or on a classical. In fact I called fishman and begged them to sell me a stage pickup system for my electric acoustic. But the closest thing they have is the rare earth pickup system. The body sensor assists with percussive playing if thats your thing. The cordoba has more of a true classical neck and feel than the ibanez.
So I think the cordoba is far and away better in almost every way other than the sick inlay and mother of pearl binding. Since brand new they cost pretty much the same, I think the cordoba gives you much more for the price.
Of the three, I like the Ibanez because it has the least of the fuzzy acoustic electronics sound.
Not to sound lame, but what do you mean by DIB? Box? what would be a basic starter for a basic idiot? thanks.
I just went online to order some strings for my cbg and I'm falling down a rabbit hole my wallet my not soon recover from. Help me! ????
