Lol, it's all what you know. If you're a rock guy, you probably suck at country. If you're a blues guy, you can't play classical etc… Most of us have our niche, but the best thing we can do is always keep learning.

I learnt fingerstyle at the very beginning of my guitar journey. The I switched to electric guitar and chords. For me doing fingerstyle is easier than holding a pick XD I suck at electric guitar solos but can play on classical guitar. So for me it depends on where you start.
