  • Wow, what beautiful sound from that old ww2 era survivor. Seeing the shape that guitar was in, truly surprised and amazed how sweet that Gibson tone still was. Congrats owning such a rare guitar, really enjoyed watching and hearing that. Such a piece of history. I bet even the Gibson Company themselves would like to own that one!

  • The best guitar I've ever heard in person is a Cole Clark from the early 2000s and I hope that we can make a deal tomorrow, where I trade my piano for it ^^ Hearing a really, really good acoustic guitar in the room is just magical.

  • Sounds great. Good job pulling out the tailpiece metal bridge that really ruined this vintage guitar, both sonically and aesthetically. Hope you restore it completely.

  • I tell you what that sucker is putting it out. Sings and purrs like a cat, that is one hell of a find you've got there. those are the guitars you never get rid of an only pull out when your sitting around with the boys and want to lay the smacketh down.. Very Very nice.. I would agree with you that is a great sounding guitar. i really wanted to hear you ;ay down some notes and some picking. because there is no question that guitar has a huge sound and would fill up any room or recording with chords and rhythm. Now put a video together of some sick runs. ya gave me a small sample at the end, but not enough.. RLTW 3/75

  • Just perfect bro…the tone, the sustain, the purity of the voice is exactly what I'm always on a quest to find in an acoustic….and dang, you found it!!!

  • It's awesome that trees that were cut over 80 years ago are still making such sweet sounds. Thanks for saving that one.

  • Have I missed what strings you've put on it? Anyway: Oh my god Injust laid with my eyes closed and took it all in.
    Fantastic sounding piece!
Lows are nice and braced, stable but rich, FANTASTIC buzzsaw middle but somehow sophisticated too. And nice, smooth heights.
All the while sounding very woody and natural. Love it.
I recently acquired a piece from the other side of the sound spectrum, rosewoood backed/sided Yamaha LL16 and I am crazy about the tone separation and brightness that guitar has.
This piece though reminds me why I love middle-centric guitars so much.y
