ACOUSTIC GUITAR AMPS for vocal-guitar performance
WHY CHOOSE AN ACOUSTIC AMP. Acoustic amps are the best choice for the singer/guitarist that wants to perform and entertain with the least amount of gear and fuss.
What features to look for with explanations on how to use. Fishman Micro, Fishman Mini and Fender Acoustasonic 40 amps are examed, compared and explained in this video.

Where is Coolmusic,Nu-x,or Donner?
Which one do you think can handle a indoor gig of say 40 people and an outdoor gig of say 50 people? Trying to get one acoustic amp to handle both…Thanks
Fantastic approach to reviewing amps! I'm 61 with bad hearing looking for an affordable amp (with head phone port) and or tieing into my home stereo speakers with a pedal or DI. I'm a total newbie to this, great info & new sub.
THANK YOU!! This was an excellent review that helped me out considerably!
I just got an loudbox micro… i sing and play the acoustic. Never ever i thought of owning an acoustic amp. So I'm new to it all… i was wondering if it can play at the same time with mic and acoustic guitar? If anyone can be kind to answer, please?
What a brilliant review and to the point video! It salvaged the 40 minutes I wasted on other videos trying the understand and find an amp for vocals and acoustic guitar. Thank you so much.
What an excellent and thoughtful review. Why can’t all other channels be like this one!
Another amp to look at in this range is the Blackstar Sonnet 60. I use mine with the speaker stand adapter to get it up off the floor and it sounds amazing. It has a 1/4 input for the guitar channel, an XLR combi-jack for the vocal channel, USB in/out, aux in, phones out, and a balanced XLR direct out. The onboard effects are really nice with some subtle compression and eq (shape), and low cut (h.p. filter) and mid-high boost (brilliance) controls. The reverb is very usable and can go from adding a little atmosphere to lush spacy sounds without getting that mush that some 'verbs can get.The bass port on the side, the 6 inch full spectrum speaker, and the 2 inch tweeter give a sound that is natural, full, and balanced for such a small amp.
I'm going to stop now because I'm starting to sound like an ad. I promise I'm just a guy who uses this amp and is really impressed with it.
Thanks Deb for another great info video ( as usual ) wishing you all the best for the coming New Year , stay safe and take care now
I've never commented on a video before, but this deserves it
