  • Poplar is a soft wood and unlikely to last the years that maple or mahogany will. This is just a sad, cheap move by companies.

  • The Gretsch G5622 Electromatic in Bristol Fog kinda has a similar finish for a miilionth of the price. And Gretsch rules.

  • almost invisible grey border?…wtf dude did you just get marching orders or are you colourblind? Did you hit your head?

  • The Jacksons are $2100-2200 CAD up here. Tbh way too much for what you're getting in terms of material/hardware. But if the aesthetics resonate with you then it's probably the one for you.

  • oh wow; Jackson made the ultimate shredder about 45 years late; they simply redid something Peavey did in 1982 with the Patriot… lol

  • The moment Valeton puts a good pitch shifter doing the job for bass in their GP-series I will be first in line. Sold my GP-5 because of this. And I dream om an xlr output ????Thanks for the great reviews????????

  • Always look forward to twig! This was an excellent episode and really loved the weeks choices. Also can't wait for that GP 50 versus GP 150 video!

  • I’m not a metal player, but yet, there is something i really love about metal guitars. They are like unrefined chips off a stone block with sharp edges. IDK there is something reckless and haphazard about them that makes me dig it, because I dig dirty broken things.

  • Andy, I like you and I like your output a lot. But, I’m going to need some of that sweet sweet swag you get before I start paying you beyond Adsense. I’m kidding, like i don’t expect such a crazy thing. Keep making and I’ll always be watching, best I can do.

  • Play the lottery. And please ask Gibson to make a proper Joan Jett Melody Maker with two pickups. And review a Brian May Red Special. Have Grogu speak.

  • How are the Jackson Guitars metal when they lack the bassier rhythm Pickup and only have the Lead Treble pickup?
I grew up with Grunge not Metal.

  • Jackson is probably doing the poplar body wings as a throwback because it was very common for them to do that in the 80's. Even the Mustaine and Friedman King V and Kelly signature models had those specs.

  • I've been putting off subscribing for awhile, but that random "Teenage Dream"/Katy Perry reference at 21:11 has finally won me over, lmao

  • Sooo weird…I keep hearing people making positive comments about the looks of this Wampler jubilee pedal. I have always stayed away from gold hardware so maybe that’s what turns me off, but it instantly pushes my “THAT’S HIDEOUS!!!” button. To each his own I guess. It definitely sounds great.

  • Doesn't tennis elbow suck so much? I've been dealing with it for months. Makes playing guitar painful.
