They're nice but not available in Canada too bad the company is losing a lot of money by not selling in Canada
GTFOH! Firefly haz acoustics! Dats cray.
Man I wish you had played the "Firefly" theme song
My friend bought a firefly for 200 & it sounds awesome. Its a cutaway (GA01-E) with a sloped top for comfort. the only thing he did was chg the strings. Its just a first guitar & hes 20 yo, so he doesnt expect it to last to long, but it does sound great 2 years in. (Even with a split top lol????)
I would love to hear a good guitar player play this instrument. Thanks for the info.
Very nice guitar it sounds amazing and I love that red burst plus the inlays. I want to buy one when they make more of them.
These pop ups about promising to be a good boy before you can comment are getting insulting and irritating. Anyway, I like to keep a cheap guitar in the garage so I have something to play when I go out to smoke. That doesn't mean I like playing on junk, this could be perfect.
Thank you for turning me onto these amazing guitars. I have one Tele type and now one GD45-E acoustic. Both incredible bang-for-buck. I have other expensive guitars and these hold their own. I nearly bought a Taylor recently for over 4x the price and the FF looks, sounds and feels so much better. None of the issues you described at all.
Ummmmm…. You play guitar, you listen to different pickups, to see which ones are better, you review parts that impact the sound, you change strings…
So, it seems that you're the type of YouTuber, that should be more aware of sound than someone who is doing a YouTube channel on flower arranging, or maybe transmission rebuilding? And to be honest, I don't care about sound when it's coming to those ones, cuz it's not about sound….
But why are your videos so quiet?
In my car, I have to turn the volume up to maximum. 40 units of sound. (Whatever units Dodge caravans use!!?)
And then when the next video comes on, I get blasted! {No, I don't spark one up?!? The sound from the next video nearly kills me!)
Just letting you know… I got ya
How does it compare to the Antonio Giuliani guitars you’ve reviewed?????????
That Recording King is a $1k guitar
I received the Explorer model yesterday and am currently waiting on my acoustic/electric model with the xtra abalone inlays and presys. Next week I hope to have delivered the Ace model in the sparking Blue and Silver ???? amazing value????
R u from Broken Arrow sir? What a cool town BA is….
Nice packing, I’ve shipped a few guitars and that size box is pretty expensive.
I got that d45 knockoff , pretty awesome guitar for 300$ , firefly hasn’t disappointed me yet !!
Not normally a cheap guitar guy but I just ordered one of the newly listed 000 size acoustics with slot headstock. I have always desired a slot head with steel strings. I will be interested to see how it compares to my similar size USA guitars at this price.
The days of cheap crap guitars have been over. I started playing in 2001. My mom got me a $99 (about $180 in todays money) Hohnor HW300 I played the hell out of it. The next year i got a $199 2000s squire/fender amp combo… same deal. Fast forward when i got adult money. I got myself a made in mexico Martin. I swear in my younger years i was literally getting handicapped by the horrible quality guitars just 25 yrs ago. Fast forwad to now..these 2-300$ guitars are killin it. What a time to be alive and young with your first guitar. I have some disposable income now n days so i just buy what i like that plays great ????
Sounds like a typical cheap acoustic from China. Not sure what your recording set up was but it sounds thin. I honestly don’t understand how others here think it sounds great. Just my opinion.
Frets don’t extend to the edge of the fretboard??? A non-starter unless you cowboy chord only. China builds some nice guitars, but on this it's cutting corners on a proper job.
It’s a miracle you can get a guitar like that for 250 bucks.
Needs a guard and I hate the output jack location. But that’s just me.
Better to have a desicate inside the body than a deficate. Sorry J…..I couldn’t resist. ???? ????????
Nice looking guitar Jayce. Sounds nice and bright. Enjoy!
First off, great video. It's crazy how affordable they can make an affordable guitar now. But I would go with an all solid wood, Chinese, guitar (like the Recording King RD-328 with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides and Adirondack spruce top) or even an Alvarez MD60-BG (also all solid wood, but solid African mahogany back and sides and solid Sitka spruce top). I own both of those guitars and reviewed them.
Really nice acoustic, Jayce! Congrats on your new LP type guitar! Cheers
Has a nice sound. Really pretty good for the price point.
Hi. Are the sides and back solid wood?
That's a nice guitar and with a pick up on it. Bone nut installed all for 250 bux is not bad.
Interesting video and demo. It does sound like a well-made and well-set up guitar. I do like the location of the output jack because I am not a fan of the output jack being part of the strap knob. Does it have a second strap button or would you have to tie the other end to the headstock if you are using a guitar strap.
Jayce, dude! You won! Congrats, dude!
