I just got an Oliver and label said it was made in Indonesia. It sounds great, but the Ernie Ball strings are brutal on my fingertips.
I also have a PRS electric guitar and can play it much longer without finger pain.

Orangewood guitars are built to last but less vibration due to their top thickness and bracing. Imagine if it’s built a bit thinner top????
