HeadCat Reissues to Include Previously Unreleased Lemmy Recordings – No Treble
The late, great Lemmy Kilmister was a rock and roll icon through and through, but he also had a deep love for rockabilly. He formed the supergroup HeadCat with Stray Cats drummer Slim Jim Phantom and Lonesome Spurs guitarist Danny B. Harvey in 1999. Now, BMG is reissuing several pieces of the band’s recorded output.
That includes their 2011 album Walk The Walk… Talk the Talk on CD and vinyl, as well as the first CD release of Dreamcatcher, which was a vinyl-only release for Record Store Day in 2022. Finally, a previously unheard album, Live in Berlin, will be available for the first time.
“Live in Berlin is a previously unreleased live concert which was recorded at the Huxley’s in Berlin, Germany on 18th October 2011,” a press release explains. “It was produced by the band and mastered by guitarist Danny B Harvey. The double LP comes on red vinyl while the CD features extended sleeve notes based on interviews with Danny B. Harvey and Slim Jim Phantom.”

Dreamcatcher is another live album. It was recorded at the Viejas Casino in Alpine, California 2008. The new CD also has extended notes from interviews with Harvey and Phantom.
All of the albums will be dropping on September 15th through the HeadCat online store.
