If i use the speaker out, should i put the main speaker off or i can use it simultaneously?
I own this amplifier (and ZT's matching extension speaker, as well) and have for a few years. I appreciate Guy's honest review, not because the ZT Lunchbox is the world's best amp (I have had many amps and have been a player, both home and gigging, for years), but because his description of the array of features is fair and accurate.
I could go on, but that would be repetitive–the review is spot on. All things considered, (1) the product and feature quality is just amazingly high, (2) the uber-compact form factor and versatile volume/tone combo is beautifully implemented in a remarkably small package, and (3) the rig would indeed be stage-worthy for smaller venues (mic'd for larger ones). If you want more sound features than ZT has worked into this pleasingly simple micro package, just get out your pedal board and go for it.
I'm not sure how ZT accomplished all this for the price, but this amp is very solid, and the amp's features (as noted by Guy) give you max versatility. I respect other comments, but this is my unsolicited, uncompensated viewpoint, based on experience.
I've heard this live and it really sounds worse than this demo
Man you are a disguisting player! (in a good way)
Why is it so hard to find an honest review of an amp instead of a demo or sales pitch? And most of these demos go straight for the distortion, so I'll give this guy credit for spending time on the clean tone. If an amp doesn't sound good clean then it isn't worth the money.
If the amp has so much volume and tone, why are guitarists putting mics in front of the amp?
sounds like the gain maxed on the amp-from a zt user…that's plenty gain (for similar sound to him) and i only have vintage singlecoils he's got some much louder paf pickups.
Do you use any pedal with this demo?
who the maker of that guitar?
Some guy sold that amp to me at my pawn shop for $10. Some people just don't know what they have
