  • Got mine a few years back for 700 at guitar center. Best amp I’ve ever owned. Great for practice, gigging, etc

  • I bought one new £450/$550 in 2020. I’ve had amps 3 times as expensive and nothing sounds as good or is as versatile as this combo amp.

  • I had two of these amps and on the red ultra gain setting I couldn’t get it to sound good at all. I had to turn my gain and treble line down almost all the way to keep it from sounding brittle and really fuzzy.

  • Is it possible to make high gain sounds less bass-y? The high gain whenever I’ve tried this amp seemed to get lost in the mix

  • Lol under $500, are you smoking crack? I've had a DSL100HR since the month it launched and I got mine for $750 but ONLY because sweetwater misprinted the price in their mailer and I noticed and they honored it (normal price was $899 at launch). I was already going to buy the DSP100HR at full price but I was waiting for payday and two days before I got paid the mailer showed up lol. Anyways it is an amazing amp. I added a choke to mine (I build amps, pedals, guitars and restore old tube radios/receivers) and I also added a switch on the ultra gain channel that makes it either stock dsl100hr, stock 100H or a split the difference setting (bright cap adjuster basically). The choke is also on a switch that you can get to from the top of the chassis so it's either choke or stock resistor. Both are interesting sounds/feels but I more often then not use it with the choke. And considering a Hammond 194G choke is only about $15 to $20 anyone can add the choke if they know how to properly solder.

  • 700€… probably like over 1000 dollars in america. Why is this getting so expensive, will they drop the prices soon?

  • The people here saying that this amp isn't loud enough have no idea what they are talking about. Go somewhere in Nashville and crank this thing. You will be fired quick! BTW, yes, I own one.

  • Bought mine new around 600 in 2019 if I'm not mistaken. Crazy what they are going for now. Still a great amp and still priced very competitive to other offerings. Inflation sucks

  • 700 ish a couple years ago new. Guitar center.
I am pissed at it tho. When one set of tubes is malfunctioning. Have to play it on half power. I have never changed out tubes on an amp. Pretty easy process? ( I assume it’s a tube issue)
