What are some more licks people think sound hard but actually aren't?
Funny, I came to this video after giving up on a freebird solo lesson from guitar 365 which is awesome and if your on that level, I highly recommend him. But the solo is just beyond my adhd at the moment.
This dude is full of it saying freebird is easy.
It’s not Randy Rhoades hard.. but it’s definitely not easy…. And this dudes flex on it is comical. ????
You can't just "fill in the gaps" on Freebird. Either learn it or don't.
BTW if you listen to the isolated guitar solo there is one guitar left, one right, and then another each sitting under in the mix. PLUS one or two really bad edits! All part of the magic.
If I had a guitar like that, I would be a happy camper.
Bro casually showing off all his stuff in his videos.
Blud called sweep picking easy
Yeah that first full step bend of freebird with some vibrato in the sweet spot of that bend isn’t exactly “easy”
thunderstruck is the first song i learned other than smoke on the water ???? great video though ????
The Freebird lick itself is not hard but to play, but playing the whole solo with its phrasing and changes, at the speed that those dudes play it, is what makes it spectacular! When I play parts of the solo by themselves it doesn't seem hard. But when I try playing the entire solo along with the song, it's too frickin fast for me, I always mess it up. They play it almost double time at what you are playing it in this video!

I appreciate when people are honest about their journey in learning and honest about which are difficult and which aren't – this guy is a braggart and a liar. Or he is the only human born playing the guitar.
Freak Turd
6:35 Thunderstruck is way easier when it’s hammer ons. I still have to practice my picking speed
Front straight on camera angle would be a bit better
I was so worried that Through the Fire and Flames and Master of Puppets would be on here. I worked so hard to learn them lol
Domination- Pantera solo?
What guitar is that? It's beautiful.
I will say the parts of the freebird solo sound alot faster than youre playing it aswell
Why doesn’t my guitar ring out like yours when I try tapping? I get like no sound out of it.. is it a pedal thing?
Bro, it's not easy because you have to have enormous power and stamina in your hands to play 4 minutes of Free Bird solo! The licks are easy, but everything else is hard as hell!
4:15 ACTUALLY my first tapping lesson was Midnight by Satriani ????
Robots play guitar on youtube. Its so funny. Robots arent as good as robots. I remember when robots used guitars as weapons and chewed on bolt nuts.
If it is too hard…write your own lick. I doubt anyone gets real excited hearing all those licks written fifty years ago.
I just set aside 5 minutes to give Eruption a go, and I was flabbergasted that I could actually sorta play it!!!
He said Joe Satriani. Have a like.
Freebird and of other solos like My Sharona are hard for me just because they go on for a while and are a bit of an endurance test (for me, at least). Also, I wouldn't qualify Freebird as "easy" for the average person; I'd call Smells Like Teen Spirit's solo easy. If you can do all the moves if Freebird accurately, at that point you're a solid guitar player.
I blame Guitar Hero for people thinking Free Bird is extremely difficult.
Me listening with my nylon string ????
If toxic masculinity was a guitar player
Good video. However, I play bass
Watched a few solo licks videos now and it turns out, most of them are actually simple. But it is about the tricks (technique) and how well you practiced that for it to become fluent and consistent.
Ah, yes, the next challenge: play all these on an acoustic guitar
How is that incredibly easy I'm lost, so I just suck at picking?
Nice
