Wish I knew what mic you were using…
Tasty!
Nice
Want that Alvarez parlor but not so keen on the gloss finish
I own a 1975 Alvarez 5024 and it is a special instrument. Long time fan of Alvarez guitars.
Stunning looking and sounding guitar
Hi any chance of tab for this pls? Lovely stuff, I really want to play it playguitar1@yahoo.com thx
Parlor guitar for the win!
The early Alvarez guitars are made by K Yairi in the 60’s n early 70’s then Katsuo Yairi made his own line and as it’s called today Alvarez Yairi . K Yairi has since passed a few years ago but his hand made guitars are understated until you play with them
It's parlor trying its best to be a lute.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE TUNE IS CALLED PLEASE!??
How are the fret ends on the parlor guitar are they smooth or do thy cut your fingers??
I really enjoyed your style of play. Great guitars
Hi, what type of guitar of PA amp and/or mixer are playing through?
Are you in standard tuning?
Loving the Alvarez AP66 sound, legit as fuck.
Does the Alverez AP66SHB have an adjustable truss rod?
I bought an Alvarez AP66SHB after hearing this music played on it. Convinced me that the Alvarez is a well kept secret.
01:05 I've seen this one at Guitar Center and played it a few times… I'm really tempted to buy it! it's only $400
The parlor sounds so mellow. Is it mahogany?
Compared with the the 1965 ARDA, the AP66SB almost sounds like it's underwater! The ARDA guitar has plenty of brightness and attack while the parlor guitar seems almost muted. It is just average and will never sound better than the day it was purchased.
What strings do you have on the AP 66SB??
Sounds like Ian Anderson's guitar on many of his '70's Jethro Tull albums (especially thinking "Mother Goose" and "Dun Ringill"…
what a great demo. I want to buy these two guitars !
That dread just sounds well…fantastic!
That big dreadnought sounds spectacular and is well… a beautiful design….love the Alvarez tone! Nice finger style playing too!
The slope shoulder 12 fret has a very distinct and wonderful tone…nice bass, complex without being boomy.
I have the ARDA 1965 and the AD66SB and amazing guitars. Alvarez is the kept secret in the industry.
What tuning are you using. I have the ARDA 1965 Slope Shoulder and I love it. I also have have the AD66SB.
I bought an AP66 some months ago but couldn't get used to the tight string spacing at the bridge. I returned it.
Very crispy sounding guitars!
i really like the first fingerstyle bit, does someone know what it is?
