  • Hi— I'm watching this video several days after your live airing… Although I've ordered a Level Two Ultralight from you, I started out as a bass player— When I was 20, in 1970, I had an Ampeg V4-B with a 3/4" plywood cab with two 15" Altec Lansing Voice of the Theater speakers. That rig weighed a ton, and somehow I was able to transport it and be able to stand and play for hours. Over the decades, I've downsized several times, leading me to my current rig — an Epifani 12" cab with a 1000 watt Epifani compact head— Very transportable and sounds great. But I'm writing because I heard you mention that you'd like a bass cab with four 10" speakers. I've got a first generation Hartke cab with four aluminum cone speakers. I haven't used it since I got the Epifani cab. It's in great shape, and it's yours if you'll arrange for shipping it from me in New York to you. You've been so patient with me in my quest for my new guitar… You interested? -Glenn

  • I prefer a heavy guitar. I HATE light guitars.

???????????????????? – My fourth guitar was a doubleneck. I grew to love the weight.

  • My friends band opened for an all female death metal band from Brazil elasticity week. He was amazed that they were able to tour in one cargo van. Not having a Marshall stack saves space and they were plenty loud. I did not notice how many cut always there guitars have.
Sorry I’m missing the live stream but trivia night with my wife and neighbors moved to Thursday.

  • I dunno, Chris, I think there are bigger tragedies in life than taking 3 minutes to adjust your amp on your phone one time.

  • after seeing a singer turn up for a gig on a motorbike, take the mic out of his pocket and plug his phone the house PA and play a blinding show I realised I needed to reduce my rig lol, also getting older having a heavy guitar just gets tiring after playing for a few hours on stage

  • The St Vincent guitar is an awesome design but it’s NOT designed specifically for women. That’s a myth started by a journalist based on a throwaway joke by Annie Clark. In my opinion the St Vincent, the Mariposa and the Albert Lee are all truly great modern designs.
