  • I know that only a very few people hold the same view, but the noise while you plug in a guitar is just ✨iconic✨. For me, it gives the feeling as though the guitar had woken up to life, being dormant before it was plugged in, and gives me that extra first motivation when I start playing.

The only place I see myself using the noiseless cables are when I am swapping guitars on stage, which hasn't happened till now.

Don't get me wrong. I know that the noise annoys a lot of people. And this product would be a game changer for them. I am just stating my point of view and this product is just not for me and also not for the people who think like me.

  • Rewinding was not impossible on cd’s. In fact, every cd player had a rewind function. I love your videos man! Keep it up!!

  • – No need for an expensive Klotz cable : this jack is a Neutrik plug costing about €10.
Best cables around are ALL available from the REAL cable-makers. No need to get crooked with rebranded cables: Sommer, which is probably the best REAL cable-maker for guitar use, even proposes their cables directly fit with Neutrik jacks.
    – I have some 20-40 year old guitars made by Leduc or Vigier that NEVER needed maintenance…
    – Les Paul broken heads : it's deliberately made fragile so you think it's your fault and buy a new guitar!
    – There are free tuner apps for your phone!
    – Kemper : no surprise you sound like anyone. BTW, just took out a Leduc from her gigbag, hadn't played her for months… She was still perfectly in tune!!!

  • I could recommend a polytune 3 mini noir for tuning, amazing stuff also mutes your amp when in use.

  • A lot of people plug the guitar in first. Hands up everyone who hasn’t ever heard that! Just joshing. Love the channel. P.S. Tried the Nomad set. Very nice.

  • Thank you for this video! Can you make a video on pedals and what they do? The videos I find don’t have much information and I don’t know where to start to have different sound effects

  • Also great things for acoustic guitar IMO:
    1. Ergoplay tappert or some similar guitar support for acoustic /classical guitar. Saves your back 🙂
    2. Blackstar Fly Acoustic or some other portable mini amp.
    3. Wireless system for guitar. Those things are ????????????

  • Cool stuff and great tips…but I always kind of liked the electric sound of a guitar being unplugged.

  • Am I the only guy who can only afford an acoustic guitar because of poverty or is everyone middle class here?????
I'll be someone without anyone's help just to prove a point. ????

  • What would REALLY interest me (not being a guitar player but an electrical engineer interested in music) is: How does the "silent" plug work? –––
O.k., I just found a video that explains: A reed contact which short-circuits the live and the ground connection, operated by a small magnet which is pushed back when the plug is fully inserted into a socket. Quite brilliant and straightforward! What still astonishes me: That you don't hear a pop or crackling noise when the contact opens or closes.

  • Does Klotz ( Noiseless ) do Right-angle cables? I love the music Nomad products. I own about 9 things from them & very happy with all-of-my purchases. Great info here Paul.

  • 3:20 Those Hercules stands suck! I have had one of the 3 guitar stands from them and the problems are as follows: 1) after a couple years of use, the grippy rubber handle becomes sticky. This is something that happens to that type of rubber and is a big problem with Hercules stands. 2) because of the nature of the plastic and rubber, it breaks down over time and the stand actually failed, dropping my guitar on the floor. The two fingers that hold it in place literally broke off. From what I understand, this is a chemical reaction that the plastic/rubber material goes through over time and it decays. DO NOT BUY HERCULES stands

Just i want to ask you if you have a advice about a very good system to amplified a acoustic guitar ( Martin’s model ) without make transformation in the body of the guitar because is not so cool to make a hole in the wood ????!
