  • To be honest, amazing product in terms of engineering. Incredible. You can fool me easily to make me believe that those sounds are coming from real speakers. Microcontroller race is amazing these days. STM32, ESP32, Teensy, Arduino… You name it. If you can imagine something, you can build it if you have the know-how. On the other hand, it is a proof that the major part of the cost of any product is enclosures, displays, knobs etc… all that non-essential stuff. Whoever worked on this product should be proud of themselves.

  • These vids you guys upload are such a pleasant diversion! (I was having an evening stroll (at 2.1 mph) on the treadmill while watching this review, but stopped for a minute to comment.) You're entertaining, educational and casual at the same time. I ordered one of these Micros earlier today and was curious about your experience. Glad you posted this. Genuine thanks for another pleasant half-hour visit by two new friends who have become regular guests in my living room.
During the past week, your vids helped me pick out the new Fender Strat HSS Ultra (cobalt blue with the rosewood fretboard) which Fender will also be shipping with the Micro in the coming week.
    Keep up the great content!

  • I'd bought a ROX headphone amp at first then bought the Mustang Micro aftetwards because the first sucked. I can feel the difference of how much consideration went into the design of the Mustang Micro. It was definitely made by guitarists.

  • Fenders add for this say you can use the Bluetooth for audio out…. But you guys just said no…. So I am wondering who is right???

  • In 2024, would you guys rather get the fender for the ease of use, or the Mighty Plug Pro for the extra versatility? Just curious since this review is already 2 years old now. Thanks, and keep doing great content!! (y)

  • Great Show! I would like to know how big speaker can it handle? I have already tried it with a 40 Watt speaker, but can it handle a 100 Watt speaker?

  • Excellent video! Thank you for the entire team at Anderton's for putting this out for all to experience, learn from, and appreciate! Well done. I bought a Vox clean headphone amp 2 years ago, but this is my next purchase.

  • Looking to get this because I don’t even play that loud but my family always complain about it being loud

  • I can't get my Mustang micro to connect to Bluetooth headphone , in fact the only thing it will pair with is my phone , how do I pair it so I can listen with my Bluetooth headphone ?

  • Can you run an aux cable from the headphone socket on the mustang into your cars stereo system?

  • Sounds fantastic. But it’s a real pity, it doesn’t support Bluetooth headphones and speakers

  • Anyone try this with high end IEM's? My old korg pandora is awesome but has a buzz with the higher impedence IEM's

  • Been considering one of these to replace my Vox Amplug2 – which I use directly into a 20W JVC bluetooth speaker, via the aux connection – for either a boost on my acoustic guitar or as a small amp for my strat – for practice, jams and small venues. Hopefully, it’ll have less background noise!

  • Fender amp fits a Silver Sky, who would have guessed – not like they used any imagination designing that one! Love the amp. Neighbours will love it even more than me.

  • shouldnt we start considering building this tech straight into basses and guitars? you'd just plug headphones straight into the jack

  • I got out of these as a Christmas present. It’s outstanding. With the backing tracks on Bluetooth, an excellent combination. Get it.

  • Wish someone would just do an honest demo without the major production and just do a demo of how it will sound to us at home.do tired of buying gear based on YouTube demos and then get one home and it sounds nothing like the video, just once please!! I know all these demos are being paid for by fender to get you to buy . Bought this an honestly the valton rushead max and the blackstar sound so much better!!

  • You could actually plug the mini amp into a really cheap guitar amp to get those mustang mini tones in your own room

    Reply
  • I have one of these and plug it right into my little Blackstar amp if you don't want to use headphones and it works like a charm. Worth every penny.

  • Too harsh on the vox amplug 2 , granted the micro is superior but the vox is still much better than you give it credit for. There are 3 amp models effects and gain that the micro doesn't have. Fiddle about and there are great tones to be had. Captain you've maybe got a little carried away here ????

  • Can always buy a little extension cable and attach the amp to the strap or something if it doesn't fit into your jack

  • Ordered one of these for silent practice at home. Great little tool for sitting on the couch and practicing
