Vox AV Series Combo Amplifiers Review by Sweetwater

Freddy DeMarco from Vox presents the AV series of combo amplifiers. Choose from eight all-analog preamp circuits based on classic amps from Vox and others for tones that range from clean chime to high-gain crunch; then blend in analog-styled delay, chorus, or reverb to taste. A Power Level control lets you dial back wattage on the fly to capture the perfect stage of tube breakup for each song.

  • I just got one, the Av 60, but behind you can plugg a cabinet or a speaker with 4ohms, but says 4Oohms 50W, that means the cabinet needs to have those watts capacity or if i use a cabinet of 60w i will damage my amp? Or the 50w just means the capacity my amp had and the other 10 i will just be lost? All i want is to plugg it on a cabinet or a pasive speaker bue is really hard to find 4ohms 50w… All i find are 4ohms 60, 30, etc.

  • What kind of speaker is in the 10" 30W and the 12" 60W ? I noticed that the 30 is rated at 4 ohms and the 60 was rated at 3 ohms.
