so bright
Gracias ????????????????????????????????
best person in the domain why knows how to play to/in/for the song. Domain = the world.
7:46 what's the title of the song?
Well, I share at least one pedal with Nigel: the EHX Superego (which I think I use more, the more I find it's capable of) ????
Thanks brother, kewl set up!! going to try some of these pedals
love his ambient tones. IMO all he needs is a noise gate + make some of his tones darker and he’d have a perfect sound.
Here is another one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsfyEyMNPsc
I want to make souch patches from hte Head Rush Pedal Board
Is he using a 2 to 1 quarter inch cable from the stereo outs of the strymon at the beginning to the mono input of the compressor? And if so, does this maintain the stereoness (if that's a word) of the strymon without alteration. i only ask because ive been told that if you have mono-only and stereo-capable pedals, the latter always have to be at the end of the chain. this seemed crazy to me but is it true?
A board to gweesh over. Nice!!! Nigel, if you're listening to these comments; try a BOSS DF-2, amazing effect when you stomp and hold, i think you'll love it. Also the FB-2 similar but without the distortion but also useful/expressive i find.
I really want to know your setup on Hosanna.
????
So basically I need to buy a kemper amp and a helix pedal board and I’m good to go. Probably a lot cheaper too. Cool setup.
I wish he’d play like this for Hillsong. I’d be way more likely to listen. Tired of the same swells, pads, insane compression, etc. that just dominates white church music. Who said it has to sound only like this?
What is the settings for that big sky shimmer sound? Thanks!
Awesome ????
2:55 I need to find a way to copy that sound!!!!
Nigel your a god my friend !
how about we can't afford that pedal did you demo how set up mooer ge 100?
O yeah u wanna try n get my tone? Sure u got about uh….. $15000?
i think this is the 100th time I'm watching this, i almost memorize this already
I'm setting up a channel to post video of guitar and worship and rock pedals … check it out and if you like it subscribe. Let's exchange subscribers, I subscribe to the channel of those who follow me too.
It’s hilarious how church guitraists see this guy as their god lmao
Title: Stereo Rig…..
Me: Listens in mono…
Wicked. ????
Sounds great & amazing pedalboard. But…… Even with humbuckers you hear the 60 cycle hum with that hard compression. Can’t even imagine the hum with single coils ???????? Must be brutal to your ears and mind ????
Smashing
This guy is a Big musician.
Power supply your using??
When I started playing electric guitar at church way back 2004, I have no pedals, just clean sound…. then I bought a cheap distortion pedal and used it one sunday, the pastor doesn't like the sound….so I go back plugging my guitar straight to the amp.
some serious pedalboard
your so dope
we want u to break down not your pedal but break down how u play. big fan!
give a video lesson of the notes you use nigel, and also the ones you use at hilsong grateful
Just love the distortion tones ????
Does everyone know how to do like 0:09
9:30 I imagine heaven will sound like this.
@9:15 … and there’s the Hillsong electric guitar worship setting that we all know and love
???? I have easy $5k in my board and it doesn’t sound nearly this good. I have the timeline and big sky and similar compression and overdrive. Makes me so unencouraged ugh.
2:53 Broken Vessels 😉
He wasn't joking when he said "it sounds pretty cool". 9:15
Has Nigel considered making a podcast about crafting tone?
All I can do is salivate with the rig ????????
Love this guy!
So expensive though….
I am convinced that bloke has extra joints in his fretting hand!
You have an amazing talent bro
A worship leader featured on a reverb.com video! Keep upping the game for worship music and striving for excellence in the name of Jesus! I'll agree with some, that's a ton of expensive gear, and you don't need to spend that much, but on the other hand, good on him for sparing no expense for music made for God! Rock on! As a Christian, thinking about the worship music made in the half recent past, I somewhat agree with Billy Corgan "I just think God has a better taste in music than that." But, in a lot of ways, I think things are changing for the best in worship music right now. As a guitarist in a worship band, I can tell you my group strives for excellence, and we're fighting on our front to make the best possible sound in tribute to the King of the universe, because he deserves nothing less.
In this video use prism first but now i see in jackson audio video use first compresor(bloom)
