Seymour Duncan PowerStage 700 Guitar Amp Head Review
Don Carr presents the Seymour Duncan PowerStage 700 guitar amplifier. This miniature power amplifier is engineered to attain the best tone and performance from your pedal-based electric guitar rig. Small enough to fit into your gig bag at the end of the night, the PowerStage 700 still pumps out an astounding 700 watts — more than enough to power any combination of guitar cabinets. And the onboard stereo I/O, cab-simulated output, and 3-band EQ make it extremely versatile, no matter what pedals you are using for your front end.

can it play in mono?
Is this 700 watts version does it work for bass guitar?
It is a guitar amp…
After the drive the sound is just so beautiful ..
Is it possible to use this with a speaker simulator like the Palmer PDI-03JB? I I know it does not require a speaker load, but the question is specifically if it works with a speaker simulator (in this case a passive one)?
ya but how about the delays? does it sound like your going thru an effects loop of an amp, or do the delays sound like your running thru front of amp, like phasing sounding etc.?
this is like can run up to 700 Wats but i can plug it into a 140 watt cab?!
is this good on bass?
Pretty slick! they could have done it one better by letting you upload an I/R for the cab emulation out!
So its a power-amp with tone control and cab emulation?
Will this work well with preamp pedals like those from AMT?
would u fry your cabinet if you crank this thing? i mean what cab can handle 700 watt power?
Buy yourself a Crown XLS 1500 for around $350 and you have a 1500 watt amp.
A dollar a watt!!!!
Great tool to have around…….nice demo, thanks Don!
Direct kills the Mesa Cab Clone! Wow, sounds decent!
