Martin Barre Jethro Tull Guitarist plays Iconic “Aqualung” at Great South Bay Music Festival 7/21/24
Amazing set of Jethro Tull Music by the legendary guitarist who originated it and when they performed this song it was pure magic. The lead singer even resembles a young Ian Anderson!

brings me to tears from another glorious time!! my FIRST BEST powerchord!!!!!!!
Well, they named the Barre chord after him ,didn’t they?
Going to see them later this year …cant wait!
He only flubbed that one little spot in the beginning because of how good it was sounding ????. Smile and keep on going!
Fantastic rendition ❤
Great version of an absolute classic.
Martin plays like he's 20 yeas old!! Phenomenal!!
I had the pleasure of getting my wig blown off by Martin Barre…Minstrel in the Gallery Tour in the mid-70's…I and my friends didn't shut up about how amazing it was for like 3 days…
Splendid.
Well done. ????????????????????
Saw Tull on my 21st birthday Nov ‘78. This band sounded great!
Where's Ian Anderson!
Drummer fortunately had a rest where he could fix his malfunctioning in-ear.
Superb!
This band is amazing , the singer is awesome !
Seeing Tull do this ,when it came out, in a small gymnasium on Long Island ,is one of my all time favorite concert memories.
Singer went way overboard, with one, and only one phrasing, through the entire song. ????
awesome! always loved his guitar playing!
Pure gold
Ian sang it much better
Great song and great performance.
Ian does his job much better than these guys .
Vote Germoney: O Points
(Sorry but Germany is fallen into political fachism , again)
No flute? …pitty
Great performance all around. Always loved Martin's guitar playing.
Aqualung ist immer noch, nach so vielen Jahren , ein geiler Song. Geht in die Musikgeschichte als Meilenstein ein.
I so do remember this wonderful sound. Been there back in the day. Thank uou
Props to the soundmen. Man, that mix is perfect.
Fantastic musicians. Hadn’t heard that in a long time. From the first two notes in intro I knew the song. lol They sound like they did 40+ yrs ago live
???? 'Sitting on the toilet seat' ????
Wow. Really good show. Better than the other touring version of this band. By far.
Well they nailed that one!
Great vocal.
Excellent! ????
Keep your cell phone camera lens clean people.
I've got the original album, The Steven Wilson vinyl Remix and saw Tull at The Rainbow back in 78. The Solo I can hum in my mind. As I rekon 1000's could. I'm not the expert of course but this doesn't sound anything like the guitar solo I remember. Still, It's great to see Martin out there rocking.
!!!
Such energy at 77
I saw JETHRO TULL 9 times “in the day”.. this BLEW MY MIND and took me back to my teens and 20’s..thank you for the MEMORIES! MARTIN BARRE’ was always under appreciated in my book.. AWESOME GUITAR PLAYER! ????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Where the hell is "Brittle Dick? RIP John!
Excellent vocal
That PRS sounds so awesome!! Marylanders are so proud to see Barre playing these fine instruments
I miss the bass in Ian Anderson's voice
In Ian Anderson's voice this guy's too tremolo
Someone told me Martin Barre died a while back. How happy and relieved I am????. One of my biggest musical influences as a youth.
