My 2023 Minimal Pedalboard Setup for Praise and Worship | Walkthrough and Demo
In this video I walk you through my 2023 pedalboard rig and guitars that I use for playing worship on Sunday mornings. I go through the signal chain and talk through my philosophy of how I setup my board and switch things in and out from week to week. Finally, I demo some of the sounds I can get out of this board and talk about my future plans for my rig.

I noticed when I put my TC electronic flashback X4 after the tonex, when engaged the tone loses some high end and a little volume, do you notice that with the timeline?
One nice tidy board l see so many effects boards plastered with coloured tape, tape on each effect. I know why they do this to hold the knob positions. Bit it looks so tatty and ugly l saw one video where a guy used rubber O rings which he placed under the control knobs to add resistance great idea ????

I'd be curious to see how much smaller you could go if you replaced those two bricks in the middle lol Could definitely save some space with the Tone X one now. Swap out the timeline with the Mako D1 maybe and you could probably fit the POG or another overdrive on there.
Wow, a worship pedalboard for only just over $2000. That's so inspiring. I also love your minimalist aesthetic of having only 4 guitars. How did you manage with so little equipment?

Love the tones! I’m surprised you don’t have any noise gate? My issues with my dirt/ heavy gain pedals is they’re so noisy/hissy the moment i engaged it on.

How do u send it to front of house? Just send a 1/4" to XLR from the output of ur delay to the front of house? I kno the Tonex has an output to front of house but wut if ur running pedals after it?
Great video and Tone – I just got a Tonex myself. I'm wondering do you just run a clean amp sound in the Tonex and let the pedals do all the drive tones? Im really interested to see your Tonex settings. Thanks so much and God Bless
@sundaytone, I watched this video a couple of times where you talk about the different sizes of pedalboards you've gone through to simplify. But you never mention what size this pedalboard is. Or which model. Can you identify it, please?
With one tonex you get an L R output from the same amp capture or its a mono amp in the middle?
I also run a board around the Tonex ..

I found the BOSS ES-8 to be super compatible with 99banks (for me, 1per song), and 8+vol loops as patches per bank. Also the ES-8 Editor software is SUPER helpful. You need a USB/midi cable to get your computer and the ES-8 communicating.

Matchless Laurel Canyon for the win! I use the POD GO patch (with modified settings) and the DC-30 with Tone Factor Bluesbreaker XR IR’s with modified settings in the HX stomp with analog drives, with the Halo and Julianna for stereo goodness in the fx loop. I highly recommend the SP compressor ????

I’ve always been a fan of small, well thought out boards. Your tone is great and your playing can shine through. We don’t need giant spaceships to have a versatile and fun array of tones at our disposal.
But giant spaceship boards are fun too. To each their own lol.
