Jake Serek is an accomplished bassist, independent bass builder, and owner/founder of Serek Basses in Chicago.  While a member of the rock band Bad City, Jake experienced touring life alongside legendary rock acts such as Smashing Pumpkins, Kiss, and Slash. He honed his skills as a luthier with elite instrument builders at Lakland and Third Coast Guitar Repair.  Today, Jake continues to make custom basses full time at Serek Basses.
