This time I’m having a crack at somebody else’s arrangement of a tune.. this is Rick Stone’s arrangement of Erroll Garner’s beautiful song “Misty”. I got this out of a fantastic Mel Bay book called “Jazz Guitar Standards – Chord Melody solos”.

Wow. LOVE this. I don't even know what to say. This is hands down the best version of this song that I've ever heard. And that includes the Wes 'Smokin at the Half Note' version! You have such a deft, light touch on the Tele. I could study your right hand for days. I'm guessing you're still on the Monels? I love when you go into the double stops up the neck, interspersed with the 3 & 4 note chords on the high strings. I'm gonna be watching this clip for years to come. Bravo, man, this is so wonderful!
