Paul McCartney Documentary “One Hand Clapping” Coming to Theaters – No Treble
In August 1974, Paul McCartney took his band Wings into Abbey Road Studios to film a documentary of recording a live album. The project got an official release back in June as One Hand Clapping and now the former Beatle is taking the film portion of the project to movie theaters.
One Hand Clapping will be shown in select theaters worldwide starting on September 26th. The film, directed by David Litchfield, gives insight to the inner workings of the band as they worked together In the studio. It includes footage of the group hanging out in the studio plus interview snippets and, of course, performances.
“In addition to the film, this screening event includes an introduction by Paul recorded exclusively for movie theatre audiences as well as unseen Polaroids of the band,” the One Hand Clapping website explains.
