  • Absolutely amazing tutorial. Thank you for your incredible explanation, it is awesome how graphic you made it, and simple to understand

  • You're able to adjust the sensitivity of the stomp that is required to change from volume pedal to effects pedal. The instruction book explains.

  • Brilliant lesson. I’ve watched 50 demos for this ME80 and not one person showed the looper. Thank you

  • It's awful that you cannot replay the loop you created after stopping it. Makes this feature basically unusable for live performance. This is a huge downfall of this pedal. Too bad because every thing else is great!

  • Creo que no hay forma de poder detener el LOOP y luego volver a reproducir este LOOP. Apenas toco 2 veces rápido el pedal, todo lo grabado se borra y no hay forma de recuperarlo 🙁

  • To stop start the looper you press the delay Pedal twice and quickly to stop playback. Then press once to restart it.

  • Unrelated question I know, but would massively appreciate a perspective. How does this unit fare when it comes to home recording, and what method do you use. I love it as a pedal and for cool features such as you have demonstrated here but also need something for high quality home recording. Hence the conflict.

  • Thank you for this, very helpful. I didn't realize until now you could layer and stack multiple sounds on the loop, I assumed it was one at a time!

  • I do not have this pedal, but I do have several 1 button loopers. Press one time on the down beat of the 1and recording starts. Next press down on the 1 and recording stops and playback starts. Press 1 time down on the 1 again to overdub. Next press down on the 1 and recording stops and playback starts. Any press and hold during playback will erase the previously recorded overdub. Quick double press at any time to stop. Any press and hold while stopped will reset the looper and prepare to start again. Try this out on this unit and see if it works. I am curious.

  • Another excellent video Doug, I’ve spent most of the morning messing with Scaler 2. I was wondering what your impressions are?
Keep up the good work brother ????

  • Just downloaded and searched through the manual and there is no way to stop and start playback of the loop, or to save it. Maybe you could ask Roland if the would be so kind as to send you a boss RC505 mk2 to review, it’s absolutely the best looper on the market for synths. But at just under 500 pounds it sure ain’t cheap.
